I was born and grew up just below them, and at one point lived on these mountains. I drove across them every day to and from work for years. I once stopped at the top of the pass on the way to work to enjoy the only triple rainbow I've every seen... Also saw my only moonbow one night just below them. I've seen thunderstorms rock them and stood in the rain in awe. There are moments I really miss them... Thanks!
These mountains with their rugged needles are so distinctive I still remember the first time I saw them headed west on I-10 through Las Cruces. Five stars from me, I think you've done justice to their beauty here, and I appreciated getting to see them again.
