Regarding the discussion, I would say Bremner's sketches are much cleverer than Culshaws, but Culshaw is probably the better impressionist.

I think Bremner is a genius but is not recognised enough, partly because he seems like a nice guy in real life and does interviews. If he hid away like Chris Morris he'd get much more respect, not that he isn't respected. I put him on par with Morris and his stuff is probably more cutting, he just doesn't have the aura of danger which has nothing to do with the work itself.

It was close enough, Edmonds is very hard to do and the point of the sketch was the satire, not necessarily how close the impression was. He doesn't do him often enough for it to matter.

He did all of this without even doing an impression of Noel Edmonds.

I think he could really have something if he started doing impressions, AND injected some comedy into his show.

I've always thought he was a class act, ever since I saw him at Wimbledon tennis actually barging his way through people and muttering, "No, fuck off." to a couple of children who were politely asking for his autograph.
