@Warlockrealm if u work your way down a little further theres a sewer chamber key guarded by a few rats , it will unlock it.

Can anyone help me I saved him at level 27 and he didn't give me the pyromancys flame my character is a pyromancer. So I left and I came back at level 40 he still wot give it to me what can I do, I bought all his spells already.

you can trade the sack to snugly the crow for the huge hammer of the tutorial boss

you dont need the master key to open the door to the bonfire you fined the key after defeating the giant rat.

Farming is a part of every RPG. I was farming in FF VII before people called it farming. That's just how you prepare for what's around the corner in an RPG. There's nothing wrong with grinding a few levels out, because you're earning it. The glitching souls is an entirely different story, and is sad to me. I have no intention of doing that. Now the sword on the other hand, is a hidden item intentionally placed there by the developers. It's not a sin to use it.

Guy teaches you Pyromancy back in firelink, and the burlap sack -- take it back to the Asylum, put it on the crows nest and you get the Demon's Great Hammer (weapon the start boss had).

@HammerOfNul You don't have tor grind those. Go to the NPC that spawns at the bottom of the first tower where you killed the gargoyle. He sells them for 3K-5K I think. He will only sell you three at a time though I'm pretty sure.

@XxSk8r000111xX Both you and DarkSorsa are incorrect. You don't need the master key. There is a key just a tiny bit further in the depths that unlocks it, but well before you have to kill the Giant Rat. After going down a small set up steps you will come across 4 or 5 rats huddled together at some bars (the Giant Rat is on the OTHER side of this, it's safe). The key is on a corpse you can loot there.
