every incarnation of the doctor is different not only in looks but in personality. odds are the 11th doesn't have the same kind of emotions for Rose that the 10th had. Which is good. The 10th was WAY too human, and at times it almost ruined him as a characrter despite his being otherwise a very good doctor. I mean, come on, a 900 years old alien falling in love with a teenage human? get real. it's completely out of character. I'm so glad the doctor-companion romance element is gone from the show

I think this song would work better for the Martha/Doctor/Rose love triangle, as the Doctor talks about Rose so much in her presence and you can always see Martha's heart breaking whenever he compares his two companions.

A beautiful video, really cleverly done.

Sadly I don't think they'll ever get a fairytale happily ever after but there'll always be that faraway look in his eyes whenever something reminds him of her. A tragic love but one never forgotten...and that in the end is the most powerful of them all.

Pehaps it is more a question of if the writers choose to show it. "A Christmas Carol" ringing any bells anyone.

He has to, she's his soul mate, they said said so, just because he gets a little plastic surgery done doesn't mean his soul changes. lol but no for real he has to still love her, he has to always love her and some how in the end she must come back and they live happily together forever.
