@tambunansumlang any time you use 4x4 its hard on the transfer case, you're just transfering 475rwhp from the engine to all 4 tires instead of 2, the possibility of breaking something its always there when you run that much torque through your drive train, so yea its hard on the transfer case, but they can take a lot of abuse, Dimitri Millard runs his truck down the track in 4x4 with an LB7 that makes well over 1000rwhp
@jsmorel86 because there is no such thing as KPL, and this is the 21st century and amazingly these trucks can display Imperial and Metric units on the DIC, HVAC and Temperature display
And for your knowledge, the Metric equivalent of MPG, is L/100km :)
@Britewhiteram man you are so cool. talking about the 21st century and being an asshole when someone was just asking a simple question. sorry i wrote KilometersPerLiter instead of L/100km. im not a communist. i dont use the metric system. i hate canada. because nobody should use the word hoser or joker....ever...eh
@jsmorel86 Well thanks for leaving this well informed comment on my video, it is truly amazing how poorly informed you are, I am not a communist either, I really have no clue what that has to do with this at all, the metric system is actually better than the Imperial system, but you wouldn't know that because you're uneducated, its ok my friend, do not worry your little brain on such complicated things as life :)
@TheNineveh at that point in time I was probably getting less than that, that is an estimated average, it is not a true mileage figure, in fact i can get well over 20mpg when im not flooring it from a stop several times... I love these uninformed comments, thanks
my dads got a 07 stock duramax even with it stock its transmission doesnt know what to do with the torque either it'll fly threw the gears and be in 6th by the time u hit 55 and then it torques out of it and keeps flyin on the speedo.
Awesome truck! I would love to have one of these! One question why does it sound like it has a CVT transmission? I know it doesn't but I don't really hear the gears changing. Is that because it's a diesel?
@Joseph9536 Its a 6 speed allison, and the truck has an rpm limit of 3200, plus it was probably only in 4th gear when i let off, never made it to 5 or 6
@91CTD the Allison has not been upgraded, but it is holding up fine to 400hp on a daily basis, I have not limped it yet, i change the spin on filter about twice a year a the same time as the oil and fuel filters, seems to help, but I need to change the fluid here in the spring
I think you got your info wrong there man. I've watched numerous times and your 0-60 time is wrong. You leave say 12.5 sec and hit 60 at say 15.5, so 0-60 is roughly 3 secs! Your 0-100 time is roughly 5 sec! Unless your speedo gauge is wrong or I'm drunk, your truck is wicked fast man! Awesome either way though, love the Dirty-Max!
this tune is from Duramaxtuner, its an EFI live tune, and he says its a 475rwhp tune, I dont live near a dyno so I will take his word for it, it pulls pretty hard so im guessing 175rwhp over stock is probably pretty close, I like the tunes he makes, Im currently running a 365rwhp tune and it pulls really well, and im also running a turbo brake script with it, its really nice
12.7 avg mpg i think thats pretty damn good while gettin on it haha i get that drving in town in my 1500!

if his speedo is reading in KPH why does the readout show his MPG. shouldnt it be KPL?

Is that 475 total, or plus factory? EFI live, or a canned tuner? Nice run.
