This is only the Creature Creator component of the game, IE it's where you make your creature. If you want to see how the actual game looks you can find a plethora of other videos, each showcasing a different aspect of the game.

Spore was never really meant to sport top notch graphics though, It DOES succeed, however in the artistic style department.
