you need more complex carbs if your weak. the diet is like all protein, my buddy was weak.i dont do the n. plan because of it. more carbs, more energy and less sluggishness, and less shit feeling. it works.
If you're trying to lose weight, watch the sugar on your recovery drink. Higher sugar = higher insulin = more fat stored. If you're trying to just bulk up, go for it!
And there's no point to eating fast food while you do P90x anyways, that's more like a contradiction unless your eating Kentucky grilled chicken. they tell you to eat right for a reason. Results should be anyones motivation just keep eating right and working hard and i guarantee you'll be motivated.
Same here but i still decided to eat better it WILL make you feel a lot better, I will admit dieting does kind of make food a little lame but think about it, Reward for sacrifice.
Bomb, if you're 100 pounds overweight you shouldn't start with P90x. Wait until you're closer to 25 or 30 lbs above your target goal and already in pretty good shape. P90x is not an entry level exercise program. There is a fit test online to see if you meet the minimum fitness requirements for P90x.
just like anything in life the 50% mark is the "hump" to get over, force a game face and power through it. Results are always more drastic at the beginning, but once the results aren't as visible it becomes harder to stay excited and energetic about things. You can do it man, keep up the hard work.
Set your own goals. There is no law saying you have to finish this in 90 days. Maybe you are pushing yourself too hard. Remember even giving 5 minutes is better than nothing.,,,,You are doing great...keep up the good work,,,,,,keep us posted
Thanks for the reality. It DOES get hard, you don't feel like bringing it every week, there a million valid excuses. Push through the tough times. You sound committed, I look froward to your next report.
I had to stop being as strict with the program. It started to take up so much of my time I didnt have time for anything else. So I kinda lightened up. I now drink a few beers during the week. Heinken light, 99 calories and 6 carbs. Also I make time for my friends but I still make time for P90X. I may go from working out after work to working out in the morning. But I struggled a lot last week because I moved to a new place. Luckly it was my rest week but I did miss the whole week.
Sup Jeremy! Are you getting at least 7 hours of sleep daily? Try having a protien shake about 2.5 hours after your breakfast meal..How many meals are you having a day..get back to me and together we will get you through this soon....Bring It
Haven't really seen this answer yet, but if you're not opposed to a caffine boost then try something along the lines of a pre workout drink that gives you that boost to keep pressing play. I've gone into many days thinking theres no possible way Ill be working out today, only to go you know what Ill try the drink then see how I feel, then 30 min later the dvd is playing and I get the best workouts Ive ever had. Things along the line as No Xplode(expensive), Fuzion, and Shock Therapy do the trick
Do you have a hectic work schedule, lack of sleep, constant overexertion, or constant stress over events, bills, blah blah blah. You know what I mean? Since there is more stress on your body and mind, you need THAT MUCH more rest.
I know you can't help that work is stressful, or family matters are irritating... just asking...
Hey man I totally hear that!!! I hit some lows myself and I notice it is when I don't eat enough or drink enough water. I upped my carbs and that does work. Also I am not as strict on the weekends like I use to be with BBQs and such happening this time of year and I notice it takes until Wednesday for my energy levels to bounce back. Just gotta push through it and keep pushing play!!!!
thanks brotha! I am maybee overdoing it with the being strict thing..... i have drank a drop of alcohal sense i started, over 45 days ago. food consumption has been almost flawless. My next round i am not going to be so strict with the eating part.
I was the same way, but now I have been drinking the Miller 64s... not bad. I am a beer guy and this has the least amount of calories, carbs and all that junk.
my drink is makers and diet, so its not so much the drink that kills me, its how i feel the next day, and not being able to press play.... Keep up the good work! i cant tell you how motivating it is for the rest of us to see your great results!
Yea looking thiner for sure! I started feeling a little worn out the second half of my first round also (not so much with the second), I think thats pretty normal. But make sure to get plenty of food, water and sleep. Especially with the suppliments you have to drink a lot more water. I noticed if I wasn't drinking enough with the black powder I started to not feel well towards the ends of workouts/abripper
Thanks for updating! Haven't seen much p90x activity on youtube in awhile, so your video was good to see (though no Padres hat).
As RSZ mentioned, you do look slimmer in the face. Sometimes it takes an outsider to see the results as we look at ourselves everyday and can be difficult to see change.
Slumps do happen...I know I have gone through them, so don't get too down about it.
Awesome update!! I got a webcam for Mother's Day! (:D) still playing with it and how to edit the clips...BUT today was my first day doing the p90x!! I know, I know...long time since I ordered it, but i've had a lot going on here lately! But wish me luck, hopefully in the next couple of hours I'll figure this thing out!!
nice!!!! looking forward to your videos!!!! and cant wait to follow your work outs, if you ever need any advice/help let me know. Good luck and keep in touch!

Im the type of person that can eat whatever he wants and not gain any weight.
That might be the reason for my eatting habbits, that and my young age.
But yea i should just be eatting healthy foods and drinks in the first place.

Try God man. That's what gets me through the whole thing. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13.
That and music.
