Black Diamond was written by Paul. Peter wrote (with cowriters) only 3 songs for Kiss during 1974-1979, Beth, Hooligan and Dirty Livin', only Beth was a hit yes, it perhaps was Kiss biggest hit with I was made for lovin' you, but that's the only one. Black Diamond on the other hand is a classic among fans, but not a hit, it was never a single.

Hard luck woman was written by Paul, Peter sang it since his voice is raspy like Rod Stewart's, which was Paul's influence for Hard luck woman.

Peter also sang Strange ways, written by Ace, Getaway, also by Ace and Mainline, written by Paul.

Peter's voice is awesome and was a great part of the original (and best) Kiss' sound. But the only hit he co-wrote in a Kiss album was Beth.

I read an interview with Ace and he said something like when he played the songs sober and correctly the fans would tell him that his heart wasn't into it. Peter Criss is the only who isn't out of key out of all 3 voices. LOL. He did a great job of it this time. If you notice the one time when Paul isn't singing with Gene and Paul, it actually sounds pretty good. I am a HUGE KISS fan and have been since I was 7 years old. I'm 42 now. I hate to say it, but Paul lost his voice many many years ago. In the studio, he's great. But live...nope.

I agree. I saw them last week in Saskatoon, Canada. Eric and Tommy raised KISS's game. They were better then have ever seen them. While Peter sings better then Eric, Eric is a beast on the drums! Paul and Gene never sounded better and they all seemed to have fun. That wasn't the case a few years ago! I am a KISS fan since 1975

So you're not hearing the actual live voices most of the time. They did it with KISS Alive 1 too. However, they do have some shining moments. Peter is great here!
