  • This was Abed's greatest performance on Community in my opinion.

  • The best thing about this is, right now there are dozens of community fans who want to wear a chunky beige cardigan to a fancy restaurant and discuss their innermost feelings and relationship to the world purely for comic effect.

  • I watched 'My Dinner With Andre' after having seen this episode and I found out who's music it was that was played at the end which is Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1. Great music, great episode. Community is probably the best show on TV.

  • fuckin. genious.

  • "BLUUUH!!/Which way's the picnic?

    BLUUUH!!/That way."

    Community rules. XDD

  • wow, this show is genius. I actually saw "My Dinner with Andre" before i saw it on this show. I don't think most people got the reference, i always thought the movie was really obscure

  • Just a salad.

    Excellent choice, sir.

    Yeah, I nailed it.

  • Dinner with Andre is the most pretentious, boring, piece of crap...the irony of the comment "fake people talking about how fake the world is" <--- anyone who liked that POS movie

  • @Bacchus42088 I generally hate when people say, "You don't like it because you don't understand it." But you don't like it. And you don't understand it. Maybe those two facts are related, maybe they're not. I don't judge. Oh, and you also don't understand irony. But that's definitely not related.

  • I love this episode more for what we learn about Jeff than what we learn about Abed.

  • mockery of the film.

  • Just saw this episode today. I love the movie its basing on probably my favorite episode of community to date. Got the "my dinner with Andre" reference right when they were doing the bar part at the start went "wait are they doing what I think they are..this is excellent"

Love this show an the fact they would even bring my Dinner with Andre to light for others who probably had never seen it.

  • Danny Pudi got Snubbed for Emmy!

  • I think it is brilliant how Danny Pudi was able to show Abed's discomfort with Jeff's "real talk" even while trying to hide it. It's true to his character, despite it being the goal of this whole facade. Such a great episode!

  • Like everybody else, I was expecting 'Pulp Fiction', but when this episode aired, I was watching it thinking, "are they really doing a parody of 'My Dinner with Andre' or am I just a huge nerd for thinking that?" I was sooooo relieved when it turned out that's exactly what they were doing! Way to f*ck with your fan's heads - LOL

  • I love how Abed goes back to his natural demeanor as soon as Jeff gets real, like he realizes he's gotten in over his head. And Jeff's so wrapped up in himself he doesn't even notice. This was so well done.

  • whats the song in the background?

  • I hope Danny Pudi submits this episode for his Emmy nomination. Outstanding.

  • @effeweewetoob he did

  • @effeweewetoob fuck the emmy's. that is all

  • This episode was fantastic. I'm sure a lot of the Tarantino fans out there were disappointed at the lack of a full "Pulp Fiction" parody, but as somebody who loves "My Dinner with Andre" I was LMAO as soon as I figured out what they were doing.

Abed really rocks that cardigan, btw.

  • @mdumas43073 I saw "My Dinner With Andre" hours later after this ep.
