I dropped my bike because of some idiot had spilled oil all over the ground at gas station. Damage was broken turn signal, scratches on mirror&fairings. I was just about to pull kickstand down when I slipped =(
If thats was sabotaged, then there ought to be a murder investigation! Geeze! To imagine that there are people out there who would actually want to cause a motorcycle to crash. That's just pure evil.
sounds suspicious because most oil on the road is dark or blackish, yes? but if someone was to put NEW oil on the ground, that maybe more difficult to see....

Yea, it was crazy about that girl. I guess she rode with the ladies in 2002, and they said she was an excellent rider. I haven't been riding long enough, makes me scared to ride that road. which totally sucks, because it is soo beautiful out there. But thank you very much for the heads up, will stay away for awhile, and also wonders like you mentioned if it is being put there on purpose.
I've heard of that in the UK Rob, there was a rumour going round that the "Cat & Fiddle" road in the UK up Matlock way, had been boobie trapped by local farmers, to slow bikers down! As far as i'm conscerned that is a murder case, after all you dont stand a chance, no matter what level of motorcyclist you are! Before everyone starts flaming me, it was what i had heard, not what i think!
idk about going on snake road. I tend to swerve alot on the road avoiding lines of cracks. would that help? =P

Was ridng with my friend on our bikes and he was infront and slipped on some oil but luckily caught himself and didnt wipe out...scary stuff
