  • The tower you were at was an observation tower built in the 1930's by rangers to spot for wildfires. The stone wall is the actual fort, if that is indeed why it was built. Archaeology was conducted in the 1950's if I'm not mistaken, and it revealed nothing about the structure. I personally don't think it's a defensive structure because there's no water up there. There is water nearby, but not within the structure itself. Nice video though! And beautiful dogs :)
