hey thanks. one thing in your video helped me, it was to hold the sleep button and home button, and then after than, the home for 8. after I did this, i then held both down a few more times, and then it finally popped up with a picture of a USB and an arrow pointing at an itunes icon, and i was able to restore to 4.1. @alexj5794 I'd advise you to turn off your device, and while holding in the home button, plug in your device to your computer. It should now be in recovery mode. Then download whatever firmware you want online (you can find ALL firmwares on my website, TechGeec.com in the downloads page) and once it's done downloading, hold the SHIFT key and click RESTORE in iTunes. Then browse for and select the recently downloaded firmware. That's all I can think of... Good luck.
Should I unjailbreak my iPod to get cydia back? When I was downloading somethimg, my iPod fell aslleep, and when I turned it back on, I tried going in2 cydia, but after 5 seconds, It came back to my spingboard. Most people who have thus problem have a timing issue. We all hate it. It sometimes takes it 20 trys to get it right, use some kind of computer timer. But if its really NOT working, just completely KILL your ipod, that way they cant tell its jailbroken. Jailbreaking voids the warrenty :)

@alexj5794 To remove the White screen you need to hold the sleep button and the button the goes to the home page for about 30 seconds.

Should I unjailbreak my iPod to get cydia back? When I was downloading somethimg, my iPod fell aslleep, and when I turned it back on, I tried going in2 cydia, but after 5 seconds, It came back to my spingboard. I've jailbrooken it before with blackra1n, then I got the update, not knowing what would happen next, and then it screwed the jailbreak up. So a month L8TR I rejailbroke it with redsn0w.

turn your ipod off hold the home button down while holdin it plug in ur USB keep holdin ur home button till u see the itunes on ur ipod in its gonna be in recovery mode dat easy bro

Most people who have thus problem have a timing issue. We all hate it. It sometimes takes it 20 trys to get it right, use some kind of computer timer. But if its really NOT working, just completely KILL your ipod, that way they cant tell its jailbroken. Jailbreaking voids the warrenty :)
