I'm pretty sure the phone has to be rooted or if you are trying to control an iPhone it has to be jailbroken. LMI and other remote support companies fail to disclose this. You can call customer support if you want their explanation.
@TamChang11 They do disclose it on their website. You do have to go look for it though in their list of supported devices. I was a bit disappointed about this as well. The Logmein needs to be installed by manufacturer or Telco I believe and there are no telcos in Australia who currently use it to support their phones.

I thought it was NOT possible to control Android devices. Was this feature removed? Does it require root access to the phone?
