I'm talking about if both A.I's were to face off with each other, I.E. say with Mugen, Megaman ZX Omega Zero would beat the MMX5 Zero's A.I, even if the heal was taken off. Omega Zero has far higher damage threat then Maverick Zero did, and still technically does in Megaman Zero 3, if the time in between attacks wasn't ridiculously slow.

And guess what? Both copies are the exact same. The only difference is if you play the easy scenario, which makes you simply take less damage.
Why are they the same? Because it's the exact same game, just ported, like how Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, etc, was ported to the gamecube in the Zelda collectors package.

I've played the games for 6 years. I know what I'm talking about. I have gotten ALL the mini games without using cheats, all the disks without using walkthroughs, etc etc.
You say you haven't even tried hard mode on the GBA. So how can your judgment be right, and mine wrong, when I've played hard mode -many- times on BOTH, and you haven't?
And, you don't actually do any less damage. Sure, you have saber slashes and your buster is weakened. However, shield boomerang and Recoil rod can still charge to their second levels, allowing you to apply elemental damage to bosses. As well as that, there is a little trick to make the saber to slash 3 times, which WILL apply to bosses, including Omega, allowing you to still do a 12 damage hit combo.
You still do the same damage as long as you are smart.
@TheGarcia350 The levels would have to be designed extremely differently if there was no range weapons (Shield boomerang aside) at all. As well as the bosses.
And that would be really bad level/game design. I personally like having a choice of combat style, with many ways to attack with that combat style to further enhance the experience.

Very challenging but I like the smooth running in megaman zx/advent in the gba it felt too slippery at least better than the X game in terms of movement. i wish they did a remake of those on the ds really.

More like people since the SNES can pirate the entire game very very easily with very little changes. Heck, some people may have owned Chrono Trigger for the SNES, OR Playstation still for those who ARE legit. Not to mention you can easily pirate all 3 of those versions.
They should make it harder or a reason for people not to pirate it. The DS version didn't really add anything except make the game portable, and more original Japanese dialogue.

Chrono Cross isn't necessarily Chrono Trigger. I mean yes it has ties with the original game, but in a way, it's not like Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask -- a sequel to the original game. It's more like Ocarina of Time, and then Twilight Princess.
When I mentioned Piracy, I meant that it damages sales for the game -- a lot. And even still, adding the new content, doesn't mean it can't be pirated. There's no -AWESOME- wifi modes like Pokemon for example.

@super97049 Normally I would have been owned too. But I played MMZ2 first. The hardest MMZ game in my opinion. Almost every level has an instant death put into it. Hell even the first (and best) level (in the whole series) did if you fell down those pit holes!
Also, I fought Omega, thinking that my weaknesses applied to him. And I was right. We both dish out damage close range, but he does it better. So I stayed away. I studied how he kept getting close to me, and I made him flinch just like I.

Considering all the health you can get in this game if you get everything, this game becomes the easiest of them all.
That's the problem with these type of games. For the newbies, it's hard as hell. But for the pros, it's easy, because newbs can't find all the hidden stuff easily to aid them, and the pros don't need all the hidden stuff they do find.
@HolyHeeroYui i think we should have been able to use all the abilites that Omega has like the Giga attack and all that from MMX series IMO they Pussied out Zero in terms of abilites. i also miss looking for X's armor they should have put somthing like that in the Zero series.
For the abilities, Zero hadn't regained all of his memory, even before his final moments in MMZ4.
As for the armor change, it was because the old armor actually didn't fit very well if the sprite and the screen/pixel capacity of the GBA. So they had to go with a more simple, and direct design for Zero's look.

I'd also count for Megaman ZX, However, Albert's dragon has an unknown amount of hitpoints. And his shield in a way counts too. Not only that, but his shield regenerates hit points over time. Which this regeneration is even faster in hard mode, however, this shield technically is -not- HP, for it doesn't count for his bar, so....

First in Megaman ZX, they changed two moves, and makes it so he has no delay between attacks, they also increased his voice/sound quality.
In Megaman Zero collection, they increased his voice quality even more, while slightly changing some of the saber sounds. They also made the Cannon Ball soundtrack much higher quality and changed a couple instruments in the BGM as well to be a bit better.

They could have just been writing the storyline as they went along, for all we know. Or just changed it after the first game. Or red simply made more sense. We can't really tell.

@HolyHeeroYui Well, Omega is in Zero's original body, but Omega is an entirely different reploid put in there, so not really a copy. And Zero, using a copy of his own body is, ironically, kicking the ass of his original one. Kind of weird to think of what it would be like if it happened to yourself...
But Zero technically knows the weaknesses of his original body, and knows how to fight better inside of it then Omega would. So it's not that ironic to be able to master the body you've lived in, then someone who just took control of it. Even if the original body is technically stronger.

Zero doesn't remember. But that was the whole point in the weapon level system in Megaman Zero 1 and 2, was that Zero was slowly remembering all of his combat skills. Zero doesn't remember much, but there are still some things he has recovered.

And I said Zero doesn't have any weakness, not that he's invulnerable. I'll put it in original series pokemon terms (LOL): Fire is weak against water, but what is a fighting type's weakness?
The reason it was remodeled, wasn't because of the storyline. Capcom claimed that the old Zero's sprite did not fit well on the GameBoy Advance. It took too many pixels. So technically it is still the same body.
I'm not saying Zero won because of weaknesses. It was just an observation of you knowing your own body better then someone else. Though I'm sure there are weaknesses in the body, just not directly, such as his head has less armor.
That's because dark didn't exist back then. But there was however only 3 ghost types. And that was Ghastly Haunter and Gengar, which was weak against Psychic (at least are today) as well.
There is also a remastered version of the soundtrack out as well. So there's two versions of it. The remastered version sounds cleaner and slightly more chaotic and emotional, but I think they over did it on the ending.
I think Dr.Weil removed Omega's "REAL" Memory/and Attitude and moved it onto a weaker copy body of Omega Zero and then re-programed Omega to serve Dr.Weil.
Or we could just go with what the game says, that Weil took the real body of Zero's, and just moved Omega into that.
God knows how many times Zero went kaboom in the X series. He's like a phoenix.
Although in reality, Capcom is actually not very solid with the whole plot line with the entire thing. It has many loopholes in it, so anything is truly possible.

I was trying to use the buster only, without charging it and beating him that way for a challenge.

If the save disappears, it's probably because you have it so it saves on a location on your computer, but where it checks for the load data on your computer is in a different spot where you told the save files to be saved to.

where Zero asked a Scientist for him to get patched/to have a maintenance and leave X the responsibility for the Maverick controls, the Scientist also said he will be awoken at August 102 Years from the Day he was fall asleep.
Why didn't he never use charge shot? In MegamanX I always used charged shot and some small bullets afterwards, but for this boss it would be better if they did use zero's original armour for omega zero and using z-saber is of course better than z-buster for killing him... but for a good challenge using small bullets is varily fun but extremely hard (but i was trying for small bullets and full hp at same time)

I actually think that's why they put him in Megaman ZX as a cameo. People loved the battle, but were at the same time, disappointed at the difficulty.

@super97049 Normally I would have been owned too. But I played MMZ2 first. The hardest MMZ game in my opinion. Almost every level has an instant death put into it. Hell even the first (and best) level (in the whole series) did if you fell down those pit holes!
Also, I fought Omega, thinking that my weaknesses applied to him. And I was right. We both dish out damage close range, but he does it better. So I stayed away. I studied how he kept getting close to me, and I made him flinch just like I.

Considering all the health you can get in this game if you get everything, this game becomes the easiest of them all.
That's the problem with these type of games. For the newbies, it's hard as hell. But for the pros, it's easy, because newbs can't find all the hidden stuff easily to aid them, and the pros don't need all the hidden stuff they do find.

@HolyHeeroYui i think we should have been able to use all the abilites that Omega has like the Giga attack and all that from MMX series IMO they Pussied out Zero in terms of abilites. i also miss looking for X's armor they should have put somthing like that in the Zero series.

For the abilities, Zero hadn't regained all of his memory, even before his final moments in MMZ4.
As for the armor change, it was because the old armor actually didn't fit very well if the sprite and the screen/pixel capacity of the GBA. So they had to go with a more simple, and direct design for Zero's look.

I'd also count for Megaman ZX, However, Albert's dragon has an unknown amount of hitpoints. And his shield in a way counts too. Not only that, but his shield regenerates hit points over time. Which this regeneration is even faster in hard mode, however, this shield technically is -not- HP, for it doesn't count for his bar, so....

Well they've redone him twice now.
First in Megaman ZX, they changed two moves, and makes it so he has no delay between attacks, they also increased his voice/sound quality.
In Megaman Zero collection, they increased his voice quality even more, while slightly changing some of the saber sounds. They also made the Cannon Ball soundtrack much higher quality and changed a couple instruments in the BGM as well to be a bit better.

Zero doesn't remember. But that was the whole point in the weapon level system in Megaman Zero 1 and 2, was that Zero was slowly remembering all of his combat skills. Zero doesn't remember much, but there are still some things he has recovered.

The reason it was remodeled, wasn't because of the storyline. Capcom claimed that the old Zero's sprite did not fit well on the GameBoy Advance. It took too many pixels. So technically it is still the same body.
I'm not saying Zero won because of weaknesses. It was just an observation of you knowing your own body better then someone else. Though I'm sure there are weaknesses in the body, just not directly, such as his head has less armor.

Ghost types have plenty of weaknesses. Especially hybrid ones. (Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar who have poison are weak against Psychic)
Ghost types in general are weak against dark attacks.

There is also a remastered version of the soundtrack out as well. So there's two versions of it. The remastered version sounds cleaner and slightly more chaotic and emotional, but I think they over did it on the ending.

I think Dr.Weil removed Omega's "REAL" Memory/and Attitude and moved it onto a weaker copy body of Omega Zero and then re-programed Omega to serve Dr.Weil.

Double jump doesn't compare with the ultimate foot chip. Which lets you double jump AND Shadow dash.
I wish he could had at least been a bit more difficult, considering with all the cyber elves, subtanks, and equipment you can get in general.
Although on hard mode he does pose quite a challenge with being able to two hit you. If you survive the two parts before without taking a hit.

By not sucking for one, and then using the elves on the final mission, or at least before the final mission after the second final mission.
Of course if you do this, then you don't get Rank S at the end of the game and thus don't get the minigames. But I had already got those, and simply started another new game, and hunt everything down.

If the save disappears, it's probably because you have it so it saves on a location on your computer, but where it checks for the load data on your computer is in a different spot where you told the save files to be saved to.

Zero is only using a COPY body. Omega is using the REAL body.
If your soul was put into someone else's body, does that somehow make you them? No. You still would have the same personality, interests, etc. That's what it's like.

Why didn't he never use charge shot? In MegamanX I always used charged shot and some small bullets afterwards, but for this boss it would be better if they did use zero's original armour for omega zero and using z-saber is of course better than z-buster for killing him... but for a good challenge using small bullets is varily fun but extremely hard (but i was trying for small bullets and full hp at same time)
