The problem isn't his movies but that there is such a market for it. He just makes these movies, it's the millions of people who believe his work to be the best entertainment they can find to be the real problem here. I don't think Bay is a terrible person really, he gives people what they want, which is a movie that provides the most efficient method for people to forget about their empty, materialistic, failure of a life for 2-3 hours through non-stop mind numbing, 300 decibel action shots.

The problem isn't his movies but that there is such a market for it. He just makes these movies, it's the millions of people who believe his work to be the best entertainment they can find to be the real problem here. I don't think Bay is a terrible person really, he gives people what they want, which is a movie that provides the most efficient method for people to forget about their empty, materialistic, failure of a life for 2-3 hours through non-stop mind numbing, 300 decibel action shots.

Zack Snyder is a gifted director, but he needs to just get out of the entire Franternity "Tits and violence are awesome!!!" mindset. he definately has great skill but he does need to mature more is all. They increased the sex scene and amped up the violence in the Watchmen movie yet they cut out most of Rorschachs conversation with the psychoanalisist to it's bare bones, which was a travesty since that is my favorite chapter in the comic.

Bad editing, bad direction, massive holes in logic and plot points...
