He is far from a phenomenal footballer. He is a good passer and crosser of the ball, that is it. He has no turn of pace, can't go by players and cannot head the ball. Don't mention his freekicks either, he scores about 2 a year, a crap return for the amount he takes. When he was at Man Utd. he was playing with fantastic footballers, same when he was at Madrid and AC Milan. They make him look good. If he looks good at L.A. it is because the U.S. league is rubbish when compared to others. End of.
