  • Everyone thinking of quitting because of this workout...Don't ..... This is the Hardest workout in p90x

  • I made it through feeling pretty good, but the next few days I could barely walk...

  • Yes, a small bowl of cereal. Ok I will

    Move on. Thanks

  • I did plyo today but stopped half way cause I felt like throwing up should I re do the whole thing or move on to my next day..?

  • @SincerelyPostlight Just move on to the next day. Did you eat anything prior to working out?

  • i threw up in the middle of my first plyo. wouldn't recommend that.

  • @lespaulriffs Yea that doesn't sound like fun! Did you eat before doing the workout?

  • @trek2befit No, just tried to hit it too hard, drank alot of water during one of the breaks and threw up a little. It definately gets easier after about a month.

  • When i finish my first time i cry about 3 tears and praise the lord... xD forreal! But BRING IT®

  • Wish i had seen this earlier, rightnow am as sore as u mentioned ;) can barely, just barely walk!!!

    Its crazy beyond belief ;)

  • @pilsatortube lol....yea it's a killer workout! Sounds like you gave 100%! Keep up the awesome work!

  • Hey I just have a few questions I hope you can help me with.

I'm not following the exact P90 Plan on tuesday , I do Cardio X and the Ab Ripper instead cuz I'm trying to burn off my belly and lose some weight . I find that once I get around half way through the Ab Ripper I just can't do those moves. Would substituting crunches work the same body parts ? Because I don't want to be too easy on myself . Sorry about the wall of text for 1 question

  • @GMNGordon No...don't do the crunches. Just give Ab Ripper X 100%. You should be pushing yourself to do more each time you do it. If you do that, AND you follow P90X as it's laid out (with the nutrition), then you'll get the results you want. BRING IT!

  • Thanks man! I needed to see this!

  • @JayLouisJohnsonII No problem buddy! Glad it helped! BRING IT!

  • thanks trek2befit. one more question. pylometrics is on tuesday. technically the next leg workout is on thursday (kenpo x). should you stilll do kenpox even if your really sore from tuesdays (plyometrics) workout?

  • @kevro999 Just do it! :-) I think you're doing a great job, but over thinking it a bit. Just do the best you can, and if you're sore you can obviously hold back a bit if you have to. As Tony Horton says, "Do your best, and forget the rest!" BRING IT!

  • Alright trek2befit, I just did the chest, back and ab ripper X workout and I'm so unbelievably sore I'm afraid to do the Plyometrics workout today. I'm mostly sore in my lower back (I got a compression fracture on one of my vertebra a couple years back) and also my hip flexors. I think I might be doing the ab workouts wrong. Should my hips be more sore than my abs??

I'm thinking they might be more sore than normal because I have a desk job and I don't use them that much. What should I do today?

  • @333DAWNA333 In the beginning, yes, your hips will be more sore then your abs. Because you're working you're hip flexors like crazy. That is very normal. After a few weeks of doing Ab Ripper X your hips won't be sore anymore and you'll start feeling it more in your abs.

Just listen to your body and keep doing the best you can. I hope that helps!

  • hey trek2befit i have a question. I did pylometrics today and it is intense and the next day you are super sore. my question is tony horton makes you warm up the next day (wenesday) (running in place, etc. using your legs ) in the arms and shoulder workout. are you supposed to warm up the next day even if your legs are super sore from yesterdays workout? wouldnt that affect your "recovery" ??

  • @kevro999 Nice job buddy for BRINGING IT during P90X Plyometrics! Yep, you should still warm up the next day. No, you should be ok...Obviously though listen to your body and you definitely don't need to go all out during the warm up since it's just a warm up. I hope that helps buddy!

  • Good tips!

  • @ibowman64 Thanks buddy!!

  • These are great tips! I remember my first run through P90X, I could barely put on a t-shirt by myself after chest & back, then I did plyo and completely lost use of my legs as well. I pushed it too far for sure, I actually had to call in sick to work that day cause I could barely get out of bed.

  • @airmanfair Yea it's definitely one of those workouts where it's easy to do that. No problem buddy! Thanks for sharing your experience with P90X Plyometrics. Have an AWESOME evening!

  • I just did plyo for the first time today. It's intense.

  • @smooglepoot Nice! Congrats buddy! You'll probably feel it tomorrow!

  • @trek2befit I did. haha.

  • Great video and tips man :) gotta remember this for when I get P90X xD

  • @k13ren Thanks for the kind words! Yea let me know when you get it!

  • great vid! p90x helped get me in real good shape, i did it for a year then it got too easy... plyometrics is the only workout from p90 that i still do because its an amazing workout no matter what shape your in. And for any one else reading this comment. listen to this guy because after i did plyo my first time, my legs were sore for a week....

  • @jacksterman2 Thanks for the kind words buddy! Yea P90X Plyometrics is a killer workout! So you know the feeling of barely being able to walk after Plyo! :-) Hope you have an AWESOME day!!

  • @jacksterman2 why don't you put more weight on if its too easy? :3
