I'm a vgetarian and something that has always fascinated me is the way that some meat eaters often challenge me about my views (always straightaway without any argument on my part). I've never understood why my not eating meat should bother them. Vegans hava point. Humans=omnivorous. That includes a lot of veggy and fruit. Humans could'nt hunt meat w/out veggy and fruit. Veggies are easier to dry and store.

But, we are meat eaters. Plain truth. It is why we have canine teeth. Balanced diets are still best winner for healthiest living.

2-8oz of meat a week is still best for humans. Not to mention the original brain food, fish.

Modified meats are problematic just as modified veggies. Polluted fish just as bad as polluted veggy.

Not so true, try eating raw meat and lets see how your body handles it long term. We need to process all our food to make it edible. Our bodies as bodies of all apes are not designed for ingesting meat as much as plants. Bottom line, we are omnivorous but need a balanced diet. You can eat an unhealthy vegetarian diet too.

This is literate and deserves a reply. I'm a meat-eater, but I think your argument isn't very realistic. If we're really going to pretend animals think like we do, then what would WE prefer? Would we prefer mass execution (with no malice, of course) or would we prefer a policy of not eating us, even though it involved graphic commercials? Veganism is just inconvenient for me, but it isn't illogical or silly.

It takes a few months to grow a vegetabe, and years to grow a cow or chicken (who are eating vegetables the whole time, so if we weren't producing animals there would be even MORE veggies available), so why would we run out of vegetables?!?
