Lolz The funniest part about this video (besides the fact that Lelouch lost) is Lelouch jumping around and fighting with kung fu XD everyone knows he can't do that. the person who made this obviously knows nothing about Code Geass, just another Death Note fanboy (I like them both by the way, but face to face Lelouch would obviously win). Two things this battle wouldn't make sense:

No 40 second death rule

Light would have to have learned Lelouch's real name, which involves gaining his trust, etc. in which everyone knows Lelouch doesn't trust anyone with that unless they are to die.

While Light has absolutely no defense against Geass.

and even if light would have the chance to write down lelouchs name he would have to know that the real name is not Lelouch Lamperouge but Lelouch vi Britannia and that is only possible with shinigami eyes wich light has not

one on one Light loses, because all Lelouch has to do is look at him and say "die" however these are two geniuses, it won't come down to a confrontation, they will both use the people around them to fight for them, and i believe Light will win, he is VASTLY smarter than Lelouch, when light gave up ownership of the Death Note, he lost his memories yet he still had a plan to get it back MONTHS after that, and it worked, meaning he didnt think steps or days, but MONTHS ahead of everyone else

@thestegman100 Are you kidding, if you watch the series at all you would see that you are wrong, sure lights plan for the month thing worked but do you even realise thats Lelouch's plan took place an entire year after he lost his memory, and it worked on the same principles as lights, he set all the people to get him out of the situation way in advance in-case something like that happened. Also Lelouch can think on his feet fast whereas Light takes almost 10 secs to turn his phone off in ep7.ha

@thestegman100 Ok heres another example, Lelouch is able to predict exactly what another genius will say in an entire conversation and counter it at every turn whereas Light cannot, it takes Light the time it would a normal person to think of a come back from one accusation and accuse back, just by going by that logic lelouch can win a battle of wit, however as i guess you would say given the time if both had say a hour preparation before Light might win. But Lelouch is more tactful/strategical.

Referring to Thewawn's comment, I have NEVER heard anywhere that if you say, "Die," after writing someones name in the notebook that it works instantaneously. Correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought of that as one of the weaknesses of the notebook.... Besides, Lulu would be able to use Geass the second the battle starts whereas Light has to open the book and write the whole name in it. :P

I think that if they met face-to-face, or if it was a chess game ('cause Lulu's all about the chess XD) Lulu'd win, 'cause he could just say "Die." or "Write your name in the death note" (lol, you're right, XxTani54xX) but I think if it was something more like the Light vs. L (as far as being long-distance & stuff) Light would win, simply because Lulu still had a heart by the end & still cared for people, whereas Light didn't, & he'd use that to his advantage.

Of course, in a straight up fight, Lelouch could order Light to kill himself before Light even had the time to write his name down. Keep in mind that Matsuda was able to shoot Light in his tracks before he could write Near's name down. Lelouch would kill/subdue Light even faster.

You're sorely underestimating Lelouch. Each time he has had a meeting with an individual whom he couldn't necessarily trust (Suzaku, the head of Japan, Schneizal, etc), he has always had a backup plan in motion. To suggest that Lelouch wouldn't have done an inhuman amount of research is absurd. The guy is always prepared.

Also, you should rewatch Death note as the notebook cannot be used to have one person kill another. So your plan wouldn't work.

Lelouch wasn't very well prepared when he was in that fight where Shirley ended up seeing who he was. He got owned... He got owned in his first fight with Cornilia... He got owned when Suzaku had him at gunpoint in his knightmare. CC keeps having to save him. if you watch Death Note, Ryuk doesn't interfere with Light at ALL. Also, the death note CAN have someone kill someone if it's on accident, like a car accident.  but whatever, I say Light would win.
