We are called to constantly be in worship and it is not limited to church and "ordained liturgy". And Spontaneous? I think the end pretty much cleared up the fact that it wasn't spontaneous. I'm sad that you cannot open your eyes or heart to different ways of worshiping and spreading the joy of Christ.

This show is not worship. It is a show to entertain visitors. Worship is for God, entertainment is for visitors. When worship is confused with entertainment is called idolatry, you can call it "false worship" if you want.
There is no biblical support for entertainment and worship mixture.
@rebonill We worship for God's pleasure. Humans were made in the image of God. I don't think God will be upset if we our entertained while he is worshiped. There are a lot of things that there isn't Biblical support for but that doesn't mean you close the door on new and inventive things. There isn't any Biblical support for driving a car but I'm sure you probably drive your car to your church to worship. There isn't really any Biblical Support that says worship must only be confined to church

This is amazing and even if the painter is getting attention, It's still in the glory of God. I sing, and I also get people coming up to me saying "wow that was so good, you're so talented" but its in how the person takes the complements and if they use them for God or for himself. If God (obviously he did) gave this man this TALENT then who is to say that he shouldn't use it to the best of his ability. @rebonill Hmm...if what you say is true, how did Adam and Eve worship God? Was there a specific place they had to go to do so? What "Biblical Parameters" did they have to abide by? Does God get angry when I worship him in prayer in the woods? How about in my backyard? In a hammock? Worship is not concealed to a church. What exactly would the idol be in this example if the guy is proclaiming Christ as King? There's nothing wrong with combining entertainment with worship. Life is to be joyful

@Lilurns21 I do not know how Adam and Eve worshiped God. Throughout the Bible, worship of God was carried out in community, in the Temple, with a liturgy, with priests, etc.
This show is not worship. It is a show to entertain visitors. Worship is for God, entertainment is for visitors. When worship is confused with entertainment is called idolatry, you can call it "false worship" if you want.
There is no biblical support for entertainment and worship mixture.

@rebonill We worship for God's pleasure. Humans were made in the image of God. I don't think God will be upset if we our entertained while he is worshiped. There are a lot of things that there isn't Biblical support for but that doesn't mean you close the door on new and inventive things. There isn't any Biblical support for driving a car but I'm sure you probably drive your car to your church to worship. There isn't really any Biblical Support that says worship must only be confined to church

@Lilurns21 Biblical pasagges = 0. I never said that worship is confined to churches. What I’m saying is while you are in church, you have to worship God in the way He commands in the Bible (liturgy, Lord’s supper, praying, etc). All that things are in the Bible. I can’t find in the Bible that Jesus or the Apostles made shows or spectacles in the Temple. Show me one single biblical passage where Christians are authorized to include shows in their meetings and I will agree with you.

i respect this man's talent, but it seems like it was a performance, and therefore was rehearsed, and therefore (in terms of paintings) isn't.. as authentic..

Wow very talented. I'm sorry but I am in hysterics laughing at these comments. "Got a bit teary" LOL!!!!! This talent is of the man, not god. What a cruel thing to say, taking away what HE has worked at. I find that utterly disgusting. Glad I'm not religious. At least my views aren't deluded enough to insult peoples talent.....

@derekdb2 As a Christian I agree with you. It's hard to for me to understand why Christmas is celebrated by churches when it is nothing more than a pagan holiday. Also while what you say is just merely a theory (in regards to the visages origin), it is worth stating that people seem to completely forget the 2nd Commandment when doing this stuff.

Jezus was but a man, but his story found it's place in the minds of a lot of people. Because it gave them peace of mind and the founders power over people. There fore i believe to put your faith into the hands of an unknown man is ridicule, but i can understand why the weak would need such cumfort.

@Marialash - the second commandment speaks of making a graven image and worshipping it - "you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I The Lord your God am a jealous God" I don't see that here...this is very creative.
@randomfaerie - Matthew 7:22-24 Jesus says - away 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers. Jesus speaking to those who did good things but didn't have personal relationship/accept Him.

I think this was amazing. the artist is expressing himself thru his art. Of course it's a performance... ALL PERFORMERS PERFORM! I enjoyed watching him very much. As for the NAME and likeness of Jesus.. Of COURSE none of us know what he looks like. It's an INTERPRETATION of our feelings and love for him. As for the J in Jesus... WHO CARES...??? we all KNOW and LOVE him by that earthly name.... You naysayers who are quoting such petty observances, just ... go away . I'm sick of you. :)

@wsbohannon I totally agree. Just as worship singers sing, praise dancers dance, artist's create art.... but you know what, as long it's all for the LORD, nothing wrong... Unless they're faking it, which I highly doubt he was. He has the gift and at least he's returning it by showing what GOD has in store for everyone who feels like they can't do anything. Trust me, HE will never lea you nor forsake you, just like he promised... Bad things only happen when you make the wrong choices... GOD BLESS

It's a talent he have if people give him the praise and he recieve it then it become a problem. But just like a good preacher or a good teacher have talent does that mean that they're gettin the praise instead of Jesus just respect and enjoy the talent of what this person can do because he can actually change someone life in the process don't judge others because you will be judge also

This is amazing and even if the painter is getting attention, It's still in the glory of God. I sing, and I also get people coming up to me saying "wow that was so good, you're so talented" but its in how the person takes the complements and if they use them for God or for himself. If God (obviously he did) gave this man this TALENT then who is to say that he shouldn't use it to the best of his ability. I think this is amazing and he should continue what he does for the Glory of God.
