  • im in the uk is it possible to get this shipped here or is this blade illegal?

  • @slightyflamable read previous comment

  • @slightltflamable yes,I bought one from this website came in about two weeks great sword but i reccomend getting the Wind Dragon.Btw I'm Irish too.

  • i live in ireland could a sword from your website be shipped here???

  • hey im thinking about buying a Bushido Musashi - High Carbon Steel Iaito Katana would u guys say its worth buying or a Musashi - 1060 Carbon Steel - Best Miyamoto Sword help anyone??

  • @S10JOKER how much is it???

  • @S10JOKER The musashi swords are very well made. It would be wise to buy from them.

  • Hi Jason, In your review, you said that the Senshi Tengoku katana has a differentially tempered blade. The temper line design on mine repeats itself every 10 and 3/8 inches and there is no visible boshi on the kissaki. This makes me wonder if it really is differentially tempered. Hope to hear from you, or anybody, on this matter.

  • Dude, I was born and raised in Nippon and, I'm an apprentice ushideshi

  • i am about to get mine i cant wait 20 mins to go

  • how much

  • @EscapeCarovan134 I would say around 200 - 300 Dollar.

  • it's not real plaese most of you know nothing about Nippon

real swords never see the light of day anyway so it's far better to own a 300 dollar cutter that you can actually use

A THE REAL SWORDS ARE IN MUSEUMS

  • @GENMAI74 Yeah no shit, who's going to use a real handcrafted 15000$ sword as a cutter?

We all know that already you aren't educating anyone

That's why we own 300$ cutters in the first place and they usually are not made in japan in the first place at that price.... So I don't see where you're coming from on that one

  • i dnt get why ppl keep bitching over the internet about how "it isnt a real sword" and all that bullshit. im pretty sure it wud be better to buy a cheaper sword you can USE, than some $4,000 one tht u wont take out of your room because you wanna play make believe samuri

  • fag

  • someones excited! lol by the way why didnt it make the awesome sound when you pulled the cover off?

  • should have gotten a ryumon sword

  • sigh

real katanas dont come with owner's manuals

  • your preaching to the un washed masses on here mate - they think an owners manual with the factory certificate means their 200 dollar dream sword is a papered nihonto - its pointless trying to educate these numpties - they think a factory logo on the habaki - and a badly machine stamped 'horimono' is the dogs bollocks ,

  • ahahhaahha yeh commercialization is a bitch

it turns centuries old tradition into a play thing anyone can have for $200

    its ridiculous

  • is it full tang

  • @FlashMob22

If it's double pegged as he says in the video it would be - where else would the pegs go? He also mentions how it is a good cutting blade...meaning it is a real sword and thus, has a full tang/handle.

  • this piece has an incredible sori!

    the dragon engraving helps too

  • would you recommend this piece over you SOM custom?

  • They are both good and pretty equal in stats. Although we are out of the SOM right now.

  • is this one hand forged?

  • All Ryumons are hand forged.

  • Is this a good cutter??

  • I looked at real katana's on a japanese based website that sold for 5000 plus and the sharp edge was on the inside of the curve. all the imitation ones have the sharp edge on the outside. wtf?

  • i know its alot to ask, but i would like to see a review on the bushido fuji, was considering and dont know if its worth the money.

  • We will be doing a tone of review in the month of november, so keep an eye out.

  • Hi Jason

This ryumon katana looks like a wicked cutter - can you confirm if its got a wide blade as it looks like in this vid , is it wide at the yokote like a good cutting blade should have a wide profile - in short if you stood it next to a PPK would the tengoku be noticeably wider ?

I really want this blade for my next custom mount as its an unusual piece with its deep sori and horimono - so any further details would be appreciated .

    Thankyou

  • It is a little wider than the ppk for sure.

  • If a sword maker puts their name on their product, it's a good product.

  • ty, il keep a look out

  • I bought a blemished Musashi blade (folded steel but scratched and has a shallow real hamon) for $40.00, and it is a better cutter than most $300-400.00 pro cutting swords!

Yeah, every once in a while, a really good deal comes around. Just know what you're buying. I got lucky and I'm really tickled to get sooo much for sooo little.

  • Hi...where to buy that Musashi blade ^^

  • I'll make my swords out of pieces of shit and put my name on it.

    It's a good product.

Please buy it for 50 bucks.

  • this will probably seem lame and you can spam me if you want about this but I was wondering if you could do the reverse blade sword they have on the site? I know what your probably thinking, that its stupid and why the heck would I but I really want to get it but not sure if its worth the money, could you please help me in this case?

  • I will do my best!

  • really?! thanks alot I really appreciate it :D

  • You seem pretty knowledgeable but please work on your presentation skills. After a couple of reviews the monotone voice starts to degrade the experience.

  • I will definitely work on this. I am always trying to improve and my next one will be better. I cannot change the voice I was given though :P

  • how much is it

  • $289.99

  • i like the sikashi sword becase it cuts bone like butter

  • It looks like a nice sword, Quick question, is it full tang? and can it be taken apart for cleaning?

  • Yes it is full tang and can be disassembled.

  • Ok I wanted to see some cutting

  • Sorry, we will get some more cutting videos including this one soon.

  • thanks xD

  • im really looking forward to getting my frist ryumon sword from you guys i just keep comming back to this to get an idea of what to exspect when mine gets here!!!

  • I am happy that you like it!

  • looks rely, rely nice!

  • thank you for posting this! i have been looking for a new sword i'm saving for and i've been looking at this one, now i'm clear i might get it :)

  • This is one of my favorite swords from the Ryumon line.
