@IhBoiGruntie Ken block put his videos together by multiple shots. As in, if he spun out he could give it another shot until he got it right.. Then his over payed video editors can mush it all together making it look like one straight shot.. Im not saying ken sucks.. Just saying his videos are not as real as one would think.. This guy might not be a pro rally driver and have a HD camera on every apex but he can sure fucking drive!

@tenkese I agree...Ken Block is good...but DEF over rated. THere are many other better drivers out there. Dave Mirra is a great driver, as was the legend Colin. If you look at Ken BLocks standings...hes consistently gotten worse over the years. He can ghymkana but only in pieces.

It's not the car that matters, it's the driver. The Evolution and Subaru STi, are more or less the same car. A few pounds difference here or there, a little bit more horsepower in one vehicle etc. The only real difference is the engine, the Evolutions is more durable and can be put to a better test while the Subaru's just sounds a whole lot better.

Most pistons have some degree of Silicon in them. Subaru pistons are hypereuetic pistons. The reason being is the Silicon helps limit the amount of expansion and contraction of the piston. This is why low silicon forged pistons have a tendency to produce "piston slap" noise when the engine is cold. Subaru is not the first manufacture to use hypereuetics in high performance engines. Its still leaps and bounds over cast pistons.

Yes I know their pistons are hypereutectic. When my firm did a promo for the gm performance ls7 which has both hypereutectic pistons and block we saw what materials is added to the aluminum to make the alloy. Not only does the silicon help with the expansion and contracting of the metal but it also reduces aluminums tendency to turn brittle over many heat cycles.
