  • I feel really old I remember when this song came out, and TRL was the hottest thing on t.v.

  • so much better than Nsync

  • lol back when the uni was alright. love this video

  • I LOVE THIS SONG but that electric guitar isnt hooked up to a amp??

  • all the GREAT groups came from the 70's and 80's.

  • Why don't country stations play more Alabama? They're such an amazing group!

  • This is what music should sound like.

  • This song is really good.

  • you know who you are because you know me and my daughter and i know god spent more time on you cuz i still do love you

  • @chakrafiend Hahahaha I totally agree!

  • LINDA ESSA CANÇÃO, ME APAIXONEI NO REFÃO!

  • I was born and rised in Alabama I love the group Alabama and i like n'sync but hands down i give it 2 ALABAMA

  • THIS SONG IS FOR MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND THAT PASSED AWAY IN 2008, HE WAS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE,MY ONCE IN A LIFE TIME LOVE,,WE WERE ONLY MARRIED 7 YRS, BUT MONEY COULDN'T BUY THOSE YEARS, AND THE BAMA BOYS,,,,SING IT THE VERY BEST,EVERYTHING THEY SING IS #1, LOVE YOU GUYS,,ONLY IN MY DREAMS,,,,,,

  • God must have spent a little more time on Alabama and Alabama spent a lot more time actually playing music.

  • My story of this song is this 12 yrs ago I dated a guy and this was our song he sang it to me the night we started dating. We broke up for 11 yrs and we just recently got back together... I love this song. and this song now fits our situation to a T.

  • catholic jesus is their bassist.

  • Great job :-) Wow! His smile still lights up the screen, you can read every word on his face... amazing. Sing it Randy!!

  • Both versions of this song were fantastic.

  • Gawd, this is way way better!!!! I love iht!!

  • But Nsync's had the song first before Alabama do not get me wrong i love Alabama but Nsync's thought of it first so go back in time line and u will see

  • both versions, Alabama and NSYNC* were both good :)

  • He has the same voice as any other country artist in the world. Nsync does it so much better.

  • @xNRMxx Randy has no voice near any other country song, ask any true country fan who it is just by playin his voice and they'll tell you exactly who it is. Both groups did a great job on this song for their field of music. How do you honestly compare country and groups like NSYNC? =/

  • @kalakoala2 Exactly, you have to be a true country fan to pick out his voice in a crowd. To me anyway, all country artists sound vaguely the same except some have deeper voices than others. I'm not saying they didn't do a good job. I'm just saying, in my opinion, NSYNC did it better because they have five guys harmonizing, and Alabama sounds just like every other country artist: Country accent & mediocre singing talent.

  • @xNRMxx you need to listen to alabama sing in acapella then you may retract that statement

  • @xNRMxx nsync did it first however alabama made more money fron this song

  • @paramedic218nh Very false. Alabama did it first. Learn your facts bitch

  • @paramedic218nh AND IM CALLIN YOU A BITCH, FAGGOT. GOT A PROBLEM? FUCKIN FIGHT ME.

  • @NewFoundGlory2113 whoa take it easy soldier. why do people like you have to solve every little problem with fighting. just assume hes wrong. cause he is wrong. alabama was first to sing this.

  • @savemywolf Alabama was not the first to sing this song... N'sync recorded this song back in 97 released it in February of 99 Alabama released their version in April of 99

  • @mumblezzz1the1ninja No wonder this song felt very boy-bandlike. Makes perfect sense. Yuck.

  • @paramedic218nh r u retarded

  • Nsync was first

  • Okay first of all NStyncs is not even in the same world as Alabama... So why are they even in these comments? js

  • @bigboymagic19 because nsync did this song too. look it up. is not even close to as good as alabama. theyre legends.

  • who did the original? alabama or nsync?

  • @cotequadsport N'sync did, but I like this version more

  • I found it ironic that Flo from Progressive came out...

  • Awesome when someone makes you feel this way, LIfe is Good :)

  • How bout Cady Groves version you have three versions to compare.

  • It's good, but I prefer the NSync version.

  • WTH is it with VEVO?! can they not get their shit together and make a clean video?! almost all the videos ive looked at lately are poor, poor, poor!!! vocals are so damn low cant hear them over the sounds.....

  • Ok this song means alot to me... Its my song to my 7 year old daughter because almost 8 years ago the doctors told she would never live.. well i was completely heart broken.. well she was born august of 2003.. and the day she was born this song was playing on the radio.. so yes i truely believe god did spend alittle more time on my darling daughter. IM truely thankfull too

  • N sync who's N sync?

  • @eujnfnnasdni nsync was a lame boy band in the late 90S early 2000's

  • featuring 'N Sync ??? where??? lol

  • i love this song!!!!

  • One of the top songs of 1999. Not a bad way to end the 20th Century.

  • Alabama's rarely discussed "Boy Band" phase......

  • @bronc30td LOL

  • Cheesy Clapping Effect For The Win.

  • Alabama is hot when they sing this song

I love all there song but i love this one more

  • @kimmyfluhr21 this song is great shut your ur hole

  • Alabama is hot when they sing this song

  • As a country girl who grew up loving NSYNC, this was the coolest thing ever.

  • who made this song first nsync or alabama? to me both versions are good

  • @4395tjh nsync made it first

  • ALABAMA!!!!! Miss their music on the radio. Classic Country #1

  • I love this song so much

  • Wonder if Alabama, or, their producer, came up with the idea to cover the song? 'Bama's version hit #3 in '99. God bless y'all, Alabama cousins!

  • Mkay, lol. It's not that this is bad. No, that's not it.

    It's just that

    A) Unibrow

and B) They just look so goofy doing this, lol.

I like Alabama, and good on them for doing this song, but I just can't get over these two things.

  • @TheGreatFapper agreed

  • the best in country

  • The fat guy playing bass is my dad.

  • @Calebs262 lol to funny!

  • @Calebs262 really

  • There is too much Randy in this video, not enough of the rest of the guys! Great song!

  • Great musicians like Alabama realize it's not all about the industry of making money through music , but that it's for the great music they create.

  • I loved this collabartion.

  • Thanks Randy for singing.....

  • Alabama is good country music. I don't think nsync is anything worth listing to. there a bunch of fags that can not make it in music. Alabama has the good shit!

  • VEVO-

    you're a corporate whore.

  • who really likes nsync???? r u serious??? u cant even compare the two.. u got a boy band and a REAL band come on poeple

  • Ok Alabama does this song way better than nsync not to mention they have been great forever.......And Randy is HOT....

  • beard power!

  • Alabama does it PERFECT!!! 100% original. No1 else can make this song any better. ALABAMA #1!

  • @BarryManilowFan4eva Umm.. It's not original if they're re-doing a song that's already been done. Sorry. And NSYNC hits the notes so much better, he's an older guy and just doesn't carry the same drama in his voice that the boys do.

  • @bwol7 Okay, yeah NSYNC did a good job on their version of the song. And they hit higher notes. And if you listen, ALabama does do a BETTER job at harmonizing. ANd as far as drama in his voice, that's what makes Randy himself. He has that smooth make you wanna get it on smoothness. And NSYNC are boys that know nothing of the words they sing. These guys are men and know what they are doing. Me and my lady love them and their voices.... just saying

  • @BarryManilowFan4eva How can you say it's 100% original when NSYNC did it first? xD Just saying.

  • @xNRMxx doesnt matter there better

  • @xNRMxx Not to me, but okay.

  • Alabama Has kicked Nsync's butt singing this tune.

  • @tcowan13 I just found this after listening to Nsync's version, N*sync can make out with the backstreet boys, Alabama rocks this tune better than anyone!

  • I like Alabama

  • nsync does much better version..

  • nsync does much better version..

  • Nice song but man, this is a weird combination...

  • Way better than Nsync

  • This is a great song - any version. Does anyone know who wrote it? I wish I wrote it.

  • I would be so honored if I made a song and a legend like Alabama wanted to make a cover, I am sure Nysnc is grateful they did

  • This is for you Elaine.

  • Love this song both alabama and n/sync verisons are both great.

  • Randy Owen made this song SO much better. it was good to start with but he made it so much better

  • Alabama was around way before the crappy NSYNC sorry fanboys of a long dead pop group.

  • who sang it first?

  • @musicbox193 This was originally recorded by *NSYNC. :-)

  • @ashesbaby26 no it was not, Alabama was around WAAAY before those losers

  • @konwolf I know Alabama was around first...I'm 26 years old, hun! Look up the date of Alabama's version of this particular song. NSYNC recorded it first, it was written FOR THEM! Alabama liked the song so much, they asked permission from the song's writers to do their own take on it! The two groups even shared a stage once, performing it! What's more, people who like that type of pop music ARE NOT LOSERS!!! Trust me, just please look it up, and get your facts STRAIGHT!!

  • @konwolf NSYNC released "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" on their debut album in 1998(I repeat, it was written FOR THEM!!)...Alabama recorded and released it in 1999!........one more thing.........ANYONE WHO COMMENTS WITH YOUR TYPE OF ATTITUDE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THIS SITE!!!!

  • @konwolf Oh, I just peeked at your channel....you like "Glee", but you rag on NSYNC?! REAL NICE!!

  • one of the best groups of the 80s ever... man why cant music be like this today..???

  • Hey Randy (Owens), please get the videos off VEVO so we can post them on facebook, and myspace. :)

  • @scottntexas i can post these to facebook

  • i dedicated this song to my gf, and she said ok.....thats when i new she was just a bitch, and come find out, she was, she cheated on me the next day and told me she was breaking up with me...........i have no luck with girls.....every one of them always seem to treat me like shit........wish there was someone out there that will make me actually feel like this......but i dont think there is

  • @robertlamb178 yeah dude thatr makes you a kid.

  • Better than N Sync ;)

  • Alabama sang the song first and if you dont think that the are one of the greatest bands ever..check the awards and recongitions they have received...they crushed any competetions for years and years

  • The beard made the video!

  • he looks like my dad!!!! :)

  • nsync sounds a lot better then these people

  • @shadysgirl31387 Yes? You just said @Rachelisamazing2. hahah

  • ok..I love this song...I don't care who sings it!

  • And I'm related to the lead singer.

  • @Denabella cool... Your related to Randy Owen?

  • @southernstar0946 family rumor

  • IMO Alabama does a better job of it.

  • The song was originally recorded by NSYNC. When Alabama covered it, NSYC provided backup vocal for them (it can be heard on the studio version, though not in the video). So this version is a cover and was done with NSYNC's blessing and support. I don't understand why this is such a big deal.

  • *cough cough* they kinda runined it im srry Alabama lmaoooo

  • (God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You is the sixth single from 'N Sync's self-titled debut album. This is the fourth single not to be released in the UK, only charting in Australia and the US. In 1999, 'N Sync re-recorded the song with country music band Alabama

    (1998) by n sync

    (1982) by Alabama

have to ask do you people really think that a group like Alabama will remix a song from gay boys??

  • @arwhap13 you copied this wrong. I just looked it up and it clearly states Nsync recorded it first in 1999 and then did back up vocals on Alabamas verison again in 1999.

  • @arwhap13 nsync did sing it first

  • Love this song...

  • Oh who cares? Everyone does covers of everybody's else's songs nowadays.

  • @lourdesgirl101 still don't make n'sync any better for what they did to alabama.

Fuck, they copied that shit when they came out on disney channel. The bunch of fucking posers. God it's no wonder pop is dead these days. Fucking Justin and his old boys killed it during its pre-teen days. shit.......

  • @dyerjw you have a filthy mouth. you should be ashamed of yourself. Do you kiss others with that mouth? Glad you don't kiss me; I would have to use mouthwash afterwards.

  • @lourdesgirl101 true but this is alabamas version so suck it

  • @jameswiskow potty mouth

  • This was made in 1999, NSYNC did it in 1997 or 1998. This is NSYNC's song!
