Wealth is earned, not obtained through protesting because other people have more money. I am in what people would call the 99% but I realize that my financial state is dependent on choices I make with my life. If wealth is to be evenly divided, what motivation is there to go through many years of schooling for a higher paid job?

Whatever-the-hell the message of OWS is, it's still strategically dead-on. Tactically, it's been weak, but slightly growing every day. That's what baffles good-honest-police-offcers who swear to protect. Don't antagonise them anymore. That's like tickling toes. To disable an enemy (and I don't consider the US as one), you must go for the brain. Being a "fly" isn't good enough. I do whole-heartedly believe this, though. @keymared77 from me reading this you seem very wise. You realize the resemblance between the Roman empire and US. The governments are the same type. Representative Republic "if you were unaware". I do believe very much that we will suffer the same tragedy as Rome faced. Though this may seem crooked, I feel as if I wish deep down that our end is copied by my prediction. Just like Rome, America had pure beginnings became crooked and run by the rich. Failure was the only way to rid it.

@erixlog OWS is about laziness. I worked long hours for little pay at a job that no one else would do. I eventually moved up in life and now I work a better job with more pay and less work. These people don't want to work but they want a paycheck. Just like these people want a free education or free health care without doing their own work.

@whyamimrpink78 Right on! I have worked hard to get where I am at in life. Can I sit back and relax? Heck no, I still have to work hard to keep what I have and with a bit of luck gain some more. Should I pay the guy that does my yard more than ten bucks an hour? Maybe, but I could just do it myself and not hire him. Another option I have is hireing an undocumented worker for five bucks an hour but I will not. Life is not easy, nothing is free and it should not be.

@whyamimrpink78 i worked every type of job. factories to fast food. grocery to lawns. waiter to dj. now i edit tv shows and get paid well. however, my retirement got dessimated in 08'-09' and i still can't find affordable healthcare. OWS is fighting against that type of shit. some are lazy, many are not. but hey, i bet some of your friends are lazy and some are not. it is a sacrifice to protest the way they are. not a lazy enterprise to get the shit kicked out of you for standing up to greed.

It's pretty awesome that these guys really have no idea what they're talking about. Perhaps that's why they're not luxuriating in the criminally well decorated "prisons" of the alleged 1%? Russia had over 35k nuclear missiles during the cold war, and we didn't even get into a war with them. No one wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon, but no one even has a clue they're working on one. Israel is right next to them, why wouldn't it be natural they want one.

Iran's President indicated the end of the regime in Israel, as their language doesn't have an idiom for what was alleged. You can find this information without relying on televised news networks that have bias and utilize the 'spin' to convey news.

Have you ever thought maybe we let them think they captured the drone? Ever heard of counter-terrorism? Duh. The US military could have destroyed that drone anytime they wanted to. How many hundred of thousand of missions have flown and this has never happened before. From what I've been told, Iran was given the drone from rebels forces in Afghanistan. It's a dud. Use your imagination.
