They did a lobotomy type op on her brain, trying to cure depression, 3 weeks later she got sick, developed pneumonia and it killed her. Pure waste of a beautiful woman. R.I.P

Anybody know why she didn't do more roles on stage, she would have been fantastic on Broadway or the West End. From the clips I've seen, she had the makings of a young Garland or Streisand. In fact, I think she's one of the few singer/actresses out there who could have pulled off a revival of "Funny Girl". Anybody else have thoughts about this criminally underused (at least in her older years) performer who left us far too soon?

@Capricaquarius89 She was poorly managed, to say the least. I wonder who taught her those archaic dance movements and exaggerated facial expressions, which were rather embarrassing to watch. And she was always dressed to make her look even younger than what she was; knee socks and hair ribbons, ugh! She had no life; she was a commodity, and she was just a baby. Hers is one of the saddest show business stories I ever heard.

I think she was an amazing artist, but if it's true that it was forced upon her as you describe, then that is sad.

Te moje dwa komentarze, poniżej to tak specjalnie. To taka prowokacja z mojej strony. Chodzi o to, że dzisiejsze społeczeństwo jest przeczulone na takie coś. Jak dorosły mężczyzna weźmie na kolana małe dziecko, albo da buziaka, to od razu ludzie mu przypinają łatkę pod nazwą "pedofil". Dlatego to niżej napisałem tak prowokacyjnie. Dla mnie ludzie, którzy w taki sposób myślą i na faceta, który tylko rozmawia z dzieckiem mówią "pedofil" , są zacofani i chorzy na łeb.

About trying too hard,anorexics tend to be perfectionists(and nobody can be perfect) and maybe she was trying too had because the adults(esp her agent) was putting too much pressure on her.

She was able to sing but she was belting out the voice a bit alright,trying too hard to be perfect,I think.Also there should not have been a career for her until she was at least 18,I believe childhood stardom to be wrong and it did turn out to be detrimental in her life.
