I am in the minority, but I love this version. It sounds like the singing I heard when I was growing up in the mountains. The other versions are much more polished and 'sound better', but I really enjoy this version of the song. The prettier versions are just that ... prettier. This shows me much more emotion than Alison's version does, even though I love her versions. This sounds much more 'old timey' for those of us who have heard true mountain music. Thank you for posting this beautiful song.
