I just discovered a glitch that let's me get about 25k souls every 5 seconds if you do it right.. In world 1-4 there's 3 bps. Kill All of them except the archer. Make sure you have soulsuck or it won't work. Get close for the archer to come at you with her melee. Go to one of the pillars and position yourself so she's running into the wall. Soulsuck. Your Han should go through the wall and take over 20k souls from her without killing her or hurting her. I managed to do it 3 times before she wal

There's an easier way for souls. Duping by yourself. Search google 'loscycos duping with thomas'. Should be the first link when typed exactly in the quotes - the atlas website.

Get the Beast Souls and dupe it using loscycos method, 200,000 souls per use.

thats also one of the harder areas in the game, as well as a couple of the best areas to farm souls, so you dont want to be going there until you level up quite a bit

I'm playing on NG+. Using the Storm Ruler, thirst, bracelets and Ring of Avarice. I can get about 60k souls if I manage to kill all the Baby Mantas with thirst on. I DON'T have black world tendency, by the way.

That's the StormRuler, found only in 4-3. The 'sky-splitting' attack only works in 4-3 (actually, I'm none too sure if it works in the rest of the world though). Otherwise, it's just a Large Sword with 150atk, 10 durability.

I can't do this strategy. I lost the Stormruler sword thanks to my effing internet connection disconnecting me from the server just as I was about to collect the Stormruler. You know what happened? When the game reloaded the damned sword was not in place and I can't collect it anymore. It sucks to fight the Storm king with magic and arrows, I tell you.

Yeah, you do have quite a lot to do. Best thing to do is level up as much as you can and keep reapeating some of the levels you're confident in. That way you'll get more souls.

Level 80, you're doing pretty well. Once you have killed the False King in Boletaria, you've completed the game, you'll get the soul of the Maiden in Black and start the game all over again and it will get harder. Good luck.

Instead of returning to the nexus just kill yourself(being a soul already so you dont change the world tendency. It would be a nice idea to kill yourself in the nexus before going there) .

You'll appear on the oldstone everytime you suicide. Then just return to your souls, get 'em and start again. To kill yourself just jump from a cliff.

By the way, I would highly recomend you to grab some sharpening stones, cos stormruler(im not really sure this is the swords name) will break quite fast.

@empofhate If you're playing online then all the worlds should be set to pure white, which is the easiest, as opposed to pure black world tendency, which is much harder. The company (devs, whatever) has the world tendencies set to pure white, and you don't have to worry about messing them up.  I don't know when they'll end that though...

There are probably ways that are slightly better, but this method has a few perks:

1. You do not need any good spells, any bow, or anything but to have beaten 4-3.

2. It is easily the fastest method pre-evacuate

3. Cloudstone kind of sucks, but it's there if you want it.

4. Stormruler is awesome and this is the only place you can use it for anything but knockdown (though it can be interesting in pvp on 3-2 and vs old king duran).

I prefer my method go to 4-2 cast Soul Thirst equip the Ring of Avarice go to the shrine and lure the Reaper without killing the ghouls to a safe spot and kill the reaper you get like 30K-50K souls.

@bwoodboy18 isnt the increase only small though? with the ring of avarice i got about 5.5k and the soul thirst spell cant increase the number of souls by over 1000%. The process takes about 1 min if you use a bow to kill the reaper, and you have to do this like 4 times to get the amount you get in about 2 min on 4-4.

the "monks head wrappings" is the headgear used by the 3-3 boss "old monk", the boss is a black phantom summoned by the old monk and as such can either an NPC with gloom armor and dual claws, or another player in whatever setup they wish. the "boss" is forced to use the monks head wrappings durring the fight and if a BP is summoned and sucesfully defeats the host he returns to his world revived with the monks head wrappings as a prize, the head wrappings also increases magic damage

I love that.. I was summoned as a Blue Phantom to help the person, but instead of starting with them and fighting the gargoyle type guys before hand I was warped into the room with the chairs everywhere and had to wait for the guy and fight him. It sucks for the summoner mainly because the BP becomes quite powerful xD I beat them quite quickly.. Kind of felt bad lol

This isnt a glitch, a hack or a cheat. Better way of leveling is in area 4-3 with soulsucker and pure black tendency. If you have it that way move back through the level until you meet a black phantom black skeleton. Soulsuck it for about 51k souls. Move beyond it and there is 2 other black phantom gold skeletons. Soulsuck them for about 28k souls each. All in about 3 minutes.

There are two types of Black Phantom NPCs - named ones or certain unnamed ones like in 1-4, and there are Black Phantom versions of enemies that spawn when you have Pure Black World Tendency. Which is why PBWT is needed to soulsuck the black phantom skelettons, since they are not there in neutral or white tendency.
