Do you ever leave the second bit of pheasant tail pointing back, wrap your dubbing and then use the pheasant tail instead of the thin skin for the wing case? Do you think that would make a big difference?

mustad size14 long curved. It is a very nice hook i find the curve makes it harder for the trout to flip out
