i think the old episodes are the best too. now i have a 10 mo old and he loves elmo(the "elmo's world" song) and cookie monster. i think it's their voices, and i think that's why they've risen in popularity. he also likes the "flying fairy school" song, doesn't care for the actual clip though. oh yeah, and the new opening song is kinda irritating. you get used to it though.
