I don't think he's a hybrid... I think Kenny's mom (Karen? Carol?) had a ritual done on him when she was pregnant with him (He was 9 when the trilogy takes place, and they were arrested 10 years before which was around the time she'd be pregnant with him)

Thus giving him funky powers he has no idea how to use.

All in all, a great video.

"Although the Deep One hybrid offspring are born with the appearance of a normal human being, the individual will eventually transform into a Deep One, gaining immortality..."

In order to birth a hybrid one requires sacrifice and ritual, like you said.

Matt and Trey are really into it themselves and they've planned out a backstory for Kenny (they know where his story is heading). Heck, they even threw in a very strong hint (during the part where the Goths show Mysterion the Necronomicon) to tease the viewers.

I think he's a Deep One/Human hybrid. :D
