  • tentacle attack

  • i wonder if people 1200 years from now will see this as a fine art when its actually mildly referencing tentacle porn rape

GOD I love digital art but theres just something about a sketchbook and graphite that makes me never want to leave tbh

  • I've seen enough hentai to see where this is going

  • Although I have bought the full tutorial already, I do have a question about it that I would like to know the answer: Did you set the brush size to pressure the whole time?

  • Hopefully, one day sexual abduction fantasies won't be so socially acceptable... but, hey, how about that imagination...

  • i will be so happy if i can to show my drawing to jason chan

  • wow, I didn't expect it to be that good when I first saw the video, I'm impressed

  • NO TUTORIAL???????? WHAT WASTE OF TIME !!!

  • This is a fantastic illustration, and I do indeed SEE how you work. But this is not a tutorial so much as a demonstration. I cannot replicate your process, and I no next to nothing about the settings, brushes, etc to attempt this on my own end.

  • @LytaNS You know this is just a trailer right? The full version can be purchased from the Art Department store.

  • @MassiveDVD I did not know it was a trailer. But I'm still right; it's a demonstration. ;) Demo of a tut, maybe. Fine work you've done.

  • @LytaNS This doesn't say tutorial anywhere in the title.

  • Hey Jason, how do you get the smooth looking brush (looks like its being done in painter but it says youre in photoshop). Is it a custom brush or do you have something like flow jitter on?

  • Eres increible xd, nada mas que decir ._.

  • you used tablet?

  • sweettt

  • very nice! thank you, definitely will come handy

    Great piece!!

  • @Cosi88 this is not vector work that would be illustrator not photoshop.

photoshop used pixels measured in dots per inch they are very different.

  • you are soooooooooooo amazing and inspirational

  • Wow, just been checking out your work. I;m sure you hear this often, but holy crap are you talented!

  • hey i was wondering what type of adobe u used.....oh and great work, very nice....i draw also but its not as good as urs like majorly its a landslide....

  • CS3 extended

  • I am very spoiled by digitally drawing and painting, I have to try to keep both traditional and digital equal so I don't loose them.

  • @PeachInTheValley

HOW CAN U LOOSE TRADITIONAL DRAWING

  • @MONEYVAL9 you can, if you stay in digital too long....you can sometimes forget the feel of the real thing and reverse for being traditional so long you can sometimes forget the spoils of digital but both are spoiling for me......

  • @PeachInTheValley

    LOL

    OK .

IDD LIKE TO SEE SOME OF URE ART WORK

  • @PeachInTheValley lol your not gonna lose the ability of painting or drawing, just keep it up then youll be like a pro someday .

  • @PeachInTheValley I agree, I think it is important, at least for me personally to work in traditional media where you have to own your mistakes and learn from them to develop real hand skills and make decisive decisions and live with them. With digital work you can endlessly fuss with details too much sometimes unless you are used to the traditional process. I agree that both have equal importance and I also try to devote equal time, I just love the feel of traditional inked linework.

  • @olbertus Same here I love the free of traditional painting and I try to paint in Photoshop and ArtRage as if I am painting traditionally so I rarely try to use the undo, try to use one brush (cause I grew up with only one brush, le sigh, don't get me wrong when I got a chance to use other brushes I did and loved it) and I try to keep my layers to a minimum, but it still doesn't beat traditional, ok I just fell in love with painting again.

  • That's CS 3 Look at the interface.

  • wich Adobe Photoshop do you use?

  • that's just effing SICK, seriously.

weird enough, he isnt even considered as the high artists of our age and still, his art look freakin cool and full of imagination, i effing envy this guy :P

  • NIce! missed the part were you put color on her skin, but nice piece.

  • this is just a promo for the MB DVDs check the forum and website

  • His works are so GAR and inspiring :D Go Jason! You ass-kicking artist you!

  • ooooh. I am a total fan of Jason Chan works * u *

Ahaha, i've always had that problem.

Digital drawings are so much more fun than traditional just because of the cleanliness of undo.

I don't think it does anything to decrease your technique...normal erasing just takes more time.

  • She looks like she's enjoying it, like she planned it.

  • does someone know how the music is called ?

  • Undo is going to undo your skills. Seriously don't get too used with undo. I learned the hard way.

  • YES!!

  • Smart words Toasty. It will undo your skills. This generation of digital artist had better be careful.

  • im proud to be his cousin! -nice work Jason

  • it's too fast,does anybody know any video in a slow-mo?

  • im his fan from now on

  • great. His blending is so smooth
