It is he person. Left alone the weapon is harmless. Winh Chun in not better than JKD or Vice Versa. Jeet Kune Do never made brucel Lee good. It was Bruce Lee THAT MADE HIS SKILL at a superior level.
Kaartehan kasi ng mga pilipino... instead na palawakin ang kaalaman sa mga sariling atin na martial arts..... sa taekwondo, karate at iba pang martial arts pa sila nahuhumaling... yan lang ang nakakalungkot.... kasabay natin mamatay ang sarili nating martial arts kung hindi natin ito susuportahan.. kung pilipino ka.. irepost mo itong comment na to...=(

to all those who say that WC is better or JKD is better, its not about a better system its the man(or woman) fighting in the end that matters. This video shows great skill on the part of both masters and I think either would be a little saddened by a few of the comments I've read. Personally I just thought seeing the blade to stick work was amazing.
@elephantarmy in my time invested in learning martial arts it is a hard realization that movement for blade work is very different from the footwork used in pugilism
@kwansao thanks! just learned a new word there, pugilism. well i've learned twc and i'm learning eskrima currently and the principles of the footwork are similar, but not the same. its worth noting though that the techniques used in blades/sticks can/should enhance pugilistic techniques; weapons are a literal and metaphorical extension of the fist
Wow. Now that was a rare treat. Both william Cheung and Guru Dan worked with Bruce. Its cool to see how the Butterfly Swords and the Ekrima sticks have their similarities and differences.
inosanto is so fluid by comparison, he is on another level. although it was only a demonstration he could easily have disarmed cheung and hit him numerous times.

i think it's important to notice that william cheung uses footwork for sparring or kickboxing and does not protect his low line

@kwansao footwork is pivotal in traditional wing chun, and twc includes entry technique which covers low mid and high centreline.
