The German version is more precisely without humour/jokes etc. Top Gear is known for it`s absolutely brilliant humour (I love the britains` humour). To be honest, I like Top Gear more, but you have to stay objective :)

Top Gear ist the most famous Car Show in the world. D Motor is only one of a dozen in germany. You can not compare these shows, or make any conclusions about the german humour ion general.

In Germany we have intelligent funny people, but unfortunately they don't make a car show.

Or other said: The German sens of humour isnt that bad, as its shown here... ;-)

nah, you have to admit, the top gear guys are more comedians than professional car drivers. in germany a show just as top gear, with a stage and everything just wouldn't work well, so they are a bit more serious, since there were no really good other car programs in germany. Top gear is fun, germans are FAST haha :)
