  • Floyd spoke of political upheaval as well. As on Animals; ie. Pigs

  • Best...I repeat, BEST band in the fucking world. Always was and always will be.

  • Isn't it great that miley cyrus and all those other talentless money making machines get millions of views and true artists like these fall to the wayside...

  • 1 ass hole!

  • metalla who? iron what? mega where? rob zom huh? NO band has ever or will ever compare to this group. i have always theorized that the US government shutm down in one way or another, being that alot of their lyrics were anti establishment. but of course im a conspiracy theorist. lol

  • @FUGYOO i agree with you wholeheartedly, they did speak about a lot of conpiratorial stuff....Queensryche in my estimation are a supergroup alongside Hawkwind and supertramp.....they were very open about the political affairs of the world....the government defo shut em down, there is power in music.

  • My favorite one on that disc and they absolutely SMOKED on it here!

  • How they got these lyrics past the PMRC is beyond me. Relevant as ever in 2011.

I remember when I bought the vinyl the day of release. I listened and read that thing from start to finish. It sent chills up my spine. Great record!

  • @Jeffabaray Too Right. Apparently they got around it by omitting the work "fuck" in the lyrics as the PMRC had armies of people scouring albums, especially from metal groups for anything their anally tight, rod gripping puppet masters told them to think was "offensive". As it's metal their "oh so sensitive" ears couldn't be exposed to The Music of The Devil for more than milliseconds before reaching for an hour of The Osmonds, so it was never picked up. Thus, Operation Mindcrime :-)

  • Operation Mindcrime I played to death and I wish they hadn't waited so long to release Mindcrime 2, its good but the sound and Geoff Tate's voice changed in production. Regardless, Queensryche rocks!

  • Best album they did. FUCKING ROCK OPERATION MINDCRIME FOREVER!!!!!

  • @poormansmarlin you got that right!!!

  • Jackson's third harmony makes that last chorus awesome.

  • The album was perfect, but this concert is better.

  • THE BEST BAND EVER!

  • Perfect album!

  • I saw them live with Judas Priest, as a band, I wouldn't say Queensrÿche was better but believe me or not, Geoff was better than Rob....

  • @GabtheRocker I agree!! :)

  • @GabtheRocker Rob's a very good singer. Geoff is simply amazing. Same voice school as Freddy Mercury apparently.

  • worlds greatest underrated band ever

  • eradicate the fascists-revolution will grow! the entire cd is awesome

  • They can not make a bad tune! I Swear they are Gods from Heaven! I love this music more than any other in all of humanity! Beautiful voice! Wonderful words! Amazing! Just Amazing!

No One else as good as Queensryche! Anywhere!

  • I remember the promiseland tour . At jones beach in NY... They played this album as well as promiseland a rare 2 hr. Show.. Type O opened for them.. Best concert ever.. Where is this talent today?

  • @danfrankjr666 apparently everyone thinks talent is doing fucking drugs, smacking women, and going to prison, i hate here music has gone, this is just to amazing for words especially the sotry its based on

  • 0:41 ronnie james dio? wtf? :P

  • @Zeknafein6 Do you mean Chris DeGarmo?

  • @ThePhaselus yes... in 0:41 he totaly looks like dio!

  • REVOLUTION!

  • Great.

  • Rock on Sryche!

  • Nothing much better. Still.

  • Speak to MEEEEEE!!!!!

  • In your face, powerful and intelligent. It's like a musical storm you get caught up in. Live Crime my favorite. Must be how they mixed it...they play so clean, clear highs and awesome low end. Scott R. is awsome...I miss Chris De Garmo too though to agree with another post.

  • Its too bad that DeGarmo fly's planes now and doesn't play anymore...

After he left they suck! Wilton couldn't write a letter to his mom!

  • @CRAMERR69 agreed!

  • @CRAMERR69 i think that this is a Wilton song....but i agree

  • 3 COMMENTS ABOUT BIEBER ON THIS PAGE - NO WAY. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, WASTED WORDS, WASTED SPACE, WASTED TIME

TALK ABOUT THE RYCHE NOT ABOUT HIM WTHELL

  • there great live and in the studio but they gotta get chris back before someone gets him.

  • Bieber is a Beaver! Now Queensryche is true music!

  • Vevo, I'm a Queensryche fan. IDGAF about Justin Bieber! Keep him/her away from legit music like this!

  • When I watch Queensryche, I prefer not to have Bieber in the background.

  • many times...if your musicians are very talented...the studio just cannot handle what they can put out and they will undoubtedly be better live.

  • I'm not so sure this isn't the album version. Wow, right after I typed that Geoff Tate said something that hyped up the audience right before the guitar solo. I stand corrected. I shouldn't be surprised. I saw them on this tour twice so I know how good they sound live. Queensryche was/is the thinking man's metal band. They were the perfect mix of progressive and metal.

  • Man that is some damn fine musicianship...

  • Scott and Eddie are so underrated, they deserve so much more credit for their work. Scott was always one of my favourite drummers, and Eddie is amazing me more and more after every listen. With Geoff caliber in the band it's hard to be noticed, but they deserve way more credit. Respect, guys!

  • Damn, this is such an incredible performance. His vocals are more powerful live than on the record.

  • Livecrime sounds way better than Mindcrime

  • This was it... THIS was the album. The greatest album ever conceived. And here they were, young, hungry, badass, energized, awesome. The best.

  • 2007? more like 1992. that can be very misleading

  • 1:18 mmmmm...

  • If I was stranded on a island , this is my 1st pic ! Ya better live! Saw them in t.o , empire/ mindcrime tour, beyond amazing! Oh ! by the way , whats degarmo doing these days! would love some feedback!

  • @JoeyProsciutto1st Chris is a commercial airline pilot, and he gets a shitload of credit for Wilton's solos.

  • Best album of all time by far. Queensryche is underaprreciated and this album was so far ahead of its time!

  • Is that an Alembic Bass Ed has got?

  • @PreedyM2k it looks like one of the spector bass guitars he usualy played at the time.

  • @iabs27 I realised that about a week or two after I watched this clip

  • Ultimate concept album is; OPERATION MINDCRIME

  • The best drummer ever Scott Rockenfield

  • @johnzarcone the guy can hit!!!

  • Great video I would love to see queensryche live never seen them yet?

  • Eradicate the fascists!!! revolution will grow !!

such true lyrics. we have a fascist president right now. Lets not let his fascist ways corrupt our great nation. QUEENSRYCHE RULES!!!

  • @CrushJehovah You realize that they were talking about right wing conservative fascists, right?

  • una exelente rola

    perfecta de una gran banda!

  • DeGarmo owns those high harmonies. God I miss him.

  • @BradRiffs I know. Aside from being a great guitarist, Chris was phenomenal on back-up vocals. I'm beginning to realize more and more how integral his back-up vocals were to the band's live performances. Is there anyone else who can harmonize with Geoff like Chris?

  • @avocate201 eddie kind-of, and that guy that's been supporting them recently is a pretty competent vocalist.

  • Its either Queensryche Operation: Livecrime or just Operation Livecrime. I just asked the woman working at suncoast pictures and she picked it out here in Pa It was 25 bucks. If u live in the us you should know what suncoast pictures or fye is

  • Yes got this dvd for christmas. Cant wait to watch it!

  • hey what DVD is it? i'm asking for one too but idk which this one is

  • it is their best DVD

  • I remem seeing this show then... thought I was watching the inside of a clock they were so tight.....

  • Hell yeah man! They had the shit down - flawless vocals. I feel lucky to have seen them on this tour.

  • You are so right it was the same as the dvd they were fabulous never have I seen them this good again !!

  • Absolutely flawless album from an otherwise unexciting band.

  • Rage for Order and The Warning are great too

  • This song kicks ass. I'll put these guys up against anyone from their area as far as live performances go...........then and now!!!!

  • they sound so good live

  • Queensryche for ever fuck yeah !! Educate the masses we´ll burn the NWO down !!

  • Queensryche Rules!!!!

  • I can't believe they actually sound BETTER live. And the album was dead solid perfect. Damn....

  • @ram16821 , The Ryche has always sounded better live than even their studio albums.

DOMAGE!

  • best group ever best album ,this album is a great concept

  • @kyndred2008 i personally think it's becomming a bit of a trend to say this one if your fave. my faves are Rage and Promised Land. I still love this one, it's just not my fave.

  • @j800r i really dont think its a trend to love this album the got great albums i must say ,was the first time i heard queesryche and its wen i discovered them ,

  • @kyndred2008 that's fair enough i guess. Promised Land was my first Queensryche album. It's also my fave (along with Rage) so i guess that's kinda the same thing.

  • @j800r at least we both love them at the end its the only thing that counts

the vocal are so hard to beat, i saw them live in 89 whit metalica in montreal

and live they sound so great

  • Geoff's vocals are still fantastic to this day. Obviously, they've changed quite a bit, but he can still belt them out when he wants to. The guy is a legend.

  • fuck ya bro queensryche is killer
