The grapple wall run was no copied? There were no similar puzzle solving sections? Saying Uncharted borrowed none of TR's elements is a fallacy. I am not saying one is better than the other but borrowing elements from other things is common in games and is often what makes them good.

Uncharted definitely did expand on these elements, but Uncharted was also made a lot later with more to work with. Let's see how this game pans out, my hopes are up there.

Crystal Dynamics have done well with the past 2 originals and the reboot game, I'm holding judgment until I see more.

I get they prob. are making the view straight behind for "classic" 3rd person that came from the franchise, but video games (3rdP) use the behind and to the side for practical reasons, not for a stylistic statement. In close tight cave/rooms(everywhere actually) if it is a third person game, I want to see DIRECTLY in front most of all. It's a natural place the eyes are drawn. Not much appeal.

Now everything that is revolutionary for a Tomb Raider game has basically been seen in Uncharted. However, in Uncharted you rarely die from the environments; it's almost always an enemy that kills you. In Tomb Raider, your whole world is one enormous death trap. Hopefully that feeling will remain in this game.

This looks like it's going to be the mother of all Tomb Raiders! This is some good stuff, can you imagine what the sequels to this one are going to be like? Think about it. They've gone to the very beginning of Lara's adventures as a young, frightened, unexperienced, unknown explorer, then she will gradually turn into the mature, fearless, famous, kick ass, extreme tomb raider as we all know her! I'm so looking forward to this. They really are working very hard on this one, it's not hard to see!

this game has amazing graphics, i dont know how or why they wud release it on the current gen consoles. this shud be strictly PC only. otherwise its gonna get dumbed down to shit. such a waste of an amazing effort to cram it into a system with 256 megs of RAM

@Kiyomi4Life Actually if you were a TRUE TR fan you would be able to spell Natla correctly and you wouldn't be worrying about Crystal Dynamic's version of it, you'd be focused on Core Design's. Lara is 21 in this game and even though I am a true TR fan I welcome this reboot because without it Lara would probably still not be here.

This looks like it's going to be the mother of all Tomb Raiders! This is some good stuff, can you imagine what the sequels to this one are going to be like? Think about it. They've gone to the very beginning of Lara's adventures as a young, frightened, unexperienced, unknown explorer, then she will gradually turn into the mature, fearless, famous, kick ass, extreme tomb raider as we all know her! I'm so looking forward to this. They really are working very hard on this one, it's not hard to see!
