  • How did you get to the turn signal bulbs to change the? I bought these but need help installing. Could you make a video? I'd greatly appreciate it. It's either taking out the headlamps or removing the air box and battery.

  • @NRevo790 You're on the right track: You remove the airbox and battery.

  • @MachVDan

Is it possible to use these as reverse lights?

And what do you mean "airbox"?

  • @Sismiques No, these would not work as reverse lights. The air box is where the engine intake air filter lives.

  • how much does it cost? and can you ship them to switzerland?

  • @djhasselt You can find them here:

    fastwrx.com/coledtusibu.html

We can ship them to Switzerland, but the cost would be very high...add them to your shopping cart for a shipping quote.

  • Are these the "standard" 60 led bulbs or the "mega bright" 90 led bulbs in this vid?

  • @jonbbas Standard 60-led.

  • Damn... I installed the same LED Switchback on my 2008 WRX but the white LEDs stay on when I put my flasher... We can't see the yellow flashing more than three feet away...

  • @leblanc3000 Are these the ones we sell? If so, they're broken. If not...perhaps consider the ones we sell. :)

  • @MachVDan didnt u have to use the load resistor thing so it wont hyper flashing

  • @vietboi511 Yes.

  • @MachVDan do u have happen to remember how to install it in? i try to install mine but there are like 3 wires.. i dont know which one to connect it to. 1 black wire 1 red and 1 green.

  • @vietboi511 The flasher module plugs directly in. You don't have to worry about wires. Just plug it in in place of the old module.

  • Would this product work on an '02 WRX?

  • @Killer91109 Sorry, no. The '02 WRX has separate lights for the market and turn signal.

  • @MachVDan "Marker," not "market." Sorry.

  • @MachVDan Instead, can I use the amber 1156 LED bulb for the turn signals and the super white 1156 LED bulb for the markers.

I am just looking for a "clean", modern and orange free look (of course orange when I use the turn signals, though)

Also, where in the front headlights can I use the Nokya Pro Halogen Headlight Bulbs and which models are for which lights? The site is a little unclear to me.

    Thanks!

  • @Killer91109 Yes, you can use those 1156 bulbs for that car. The headlamp bulb is a 9007 bulb.

  • @MachVDan Alright, thank you.

Now, is the 9007 bulb for the smaller bulb (under the turn signal and more to the side the side of the headlight housing) or for the "main" bigger bulb?

    See: h t t p : / / japanesewholesale . c o m . a u / wp-content/uploads/wpsc/product_images/Subaru%20Impreza%20Bugeye%20Headlight.jpg

  • @Killer91109 9007 is the main bulb. If you want to know what kind of bulbs they are, just take each one out. The bulb has the bulb type stamped on the metal base.

  • @MachVDan Ahhh! Alright, thank you!

  • would it fit a 2009 legacy GT?

  • @nikkacunningham This exact bulb will not work. The Legacy uses a different bulb type, and different wiring. We'll eventually have a bult for the Legacy, but don't yet...stay tuned.

  • would these work for a 2011 sti sedan?

  • @EDDYCER Yes.

  • will i need a relay or a resistor for this to work?

  • @athomas2k8 To have normal blinker speed, get a special LED blinker module -- we sell them.

  • will they work with my bimmer?

  • @XxSuperModzxX Again, we sell them specifically for the Subarus. I can't tell you whether they'll work on your BMW.

  • @MachVDan I sell them specifically for the Subaru. I think your Maxima is probably wired differently.

  • that's freakin' ill! where can i get 'em? and how much!?

  • @SINOWred FastWRX.com

  • By any chance, do yall make them for the 07 impreza 2.5i?

  • @AndyisCrunk Sorry, no. The headlamp design is different, so there's not a single combined running lamp/turn signal on the 2007.

  • Yeah just bought mine and i will be installing in a few days IM GOING TO LOVE THESE!

  • these available for other cars? like a mazda3?

  • @elnava03 Yes, but they're only suitable for certain cars. If the car does not have a combination marker lamp and turn signal, it won't work. Plus there are different versions of the bulbs for different wiring. I'm not an expert on the Mazda 3, so I can't tell you more specifically about that car.

  • how did you do this?i like it!

  • @bosskerr They are special LED bulbs. We sell them. FastWRX.com.

  • are they on all the time? or can they be turned on and off.

  • @thumbwar73 They are only on when your car's lights are on. If you don't have your lights on, these aren't on. Just like your factory marker/turn signal bulbs.

  • are they completely waterproof?

  • @cvecc2 Well...they're inside the lamp housing. So if you install them properly, yes, no water is going to get to them. I wouldn't drop the loose bulb in a pond and expect it to work well afterwards, though...

  • Nice, I'd like these on both of my vehicles.

  • ahhh would this fit in the 09 legacy?

  • Legacy uses a different style bulb. We're still working on it.

  • the fuse I got doesn't fit in the fuse location under the dash where did you put yours?

  • Just for the record, it's a relay, not a fuse. We just left the original relay in place and zip-tied the new one nearby. It's hard to get the old one out.

  • but where/what relay?

  • Turn on the hazard lights, stick your head under the driver-side footwell, and follow your ear. It should be pretty obvious.

  • I found it, it was at the top of the relay box next to the fuse box under the driver side. I didn't see it the first time I looked.

  • is that legual?

  • I don't know any reason it would not be legal.

  • Thank You

  • I understand it is hid white but is it 500ok or 6000k.

  • Sorry, I don't know. I don't have a spectrometer, myself.

  • @floymaster they appear to be 6000k, thers a Tinge of blue in there, 5k is PURE white

  • no no no - 5000k is not pure white, 4300K is pure white. At 4700K you have noticable "blue", go check between different bulbs and a colour temperature chart. 4300K is also brighter than 6000K, the higher the colour temperature the lower the light output. It's not by much but is noticable.

Good product anyway! Wouldn't mind seeing them on other cars but they are NOT legal to use in the UK yet. LEDs would also drive the CANBUS system mental producing errors and switching power off.

  • depends on the manufacture.

  • @urbex2007 Good job. this guy knows what he's talking about

  • Tight Is this a 6000k on the signals?

  • They're just called "HID white."

  • the question is though, how long does the bulb last? if this is LED would be fine, but if it's a bulb, then might not last...

  • It is an LED bulb.

  • that is really cool. Thanks for the post!

  • awsome..
