i give these batteries a good beating, they get all puffy, and still keep on going. i do limit my 3D to 5 min. although it's good auto practice when they run out ! i know about the 3 volt limit. thanks for the tip.
battery will last longer and better if you dont take it past 85 % run time.7 min should be max on a 2250.hovering and 5 max doing 3d. nice flying tho.i know all about the cramped places and it makes you better quick.
@CrazyHeliDude thanks for the compliment, it's a Sony handycam DCR-SR85. Very nice, with a 60 gb hard drive. I've got a few more vids I have to post. Just haven't had the time.
Looks like some pretty tame pitch and throttle curve settings which explains the long flight due to lower head speed. Also looks like some expo and lower rates. How does she handle the wind like this? I am still in experimental mode. Had my 400 pretty tame like this but now re-learing with more agressive settings.
@IEATSRT the settings are not bad in the wind. the DX7 can adjust throttle and pitch from 2 toggles, and i'm able to change settings very easily. the rates are fairly high and light on the touch. when you fly in close quarters you need quick response. i'm happy with the settings, very stable. thanks for the compliment.
@truckpilot55 Hey thanks for the response. Yes I've been playing with settings for my my DX7 for the 400. Mine are set up with some lower rates, then one setting for high rates and finally idle up on high rates. I have the same throttle and pitch curves for positions on the toggle but yes I could really tame her town if I had some milder pitch and throttle curves with my low rates.
