The word is that MJJS was shutdown because Karen Faye and Randy were abusing it by offering MJ memorabilia to fans and when they paid, they didn't get their merchandise. When Michael found out, they were both fired. This was all at the time of his trial so that was an added burden for him. Karen Faye denies this and says that Raymond Bane wasn't paying the bills.
