  • Omigod ma mum used to watch this when she wiz younger and she told me about it

  • Anyone else see the Hamlet analogy?!

  • between 5.34 and 5.35 someone leaves a template of a child in shot ;)

  • possibly the most amazing video i have ever seen

  • These days you'd probably be arrested for noggin the nog.

  • What a jobsworth that counting house guard is!

  • I love this part where Nogbad gets pushed into the water 7:23

  • Loved this first time round and I feel sorry for modern kids who have not had the pleasure of such stories pre-computer age. As with any of my age still feel the 'tingle' of the opening to each episode, RIP Oliver Postgate your legacy still lives on thanks to youtube

  • such an old cartoon but i feel privileged to have watched this as a child. words cant describe the warming nostalgia

  • OMG that guy in trees used to freak me out when i was a kid still kinda does haha

    RIP

    noggin the nog forever!!!!!!!!!

  • i luv this episode of noggin, thanks for putting it up !! i havent seen it in years !!

  • i just about remember the series not so much the stories but the name noggin the nog and the animation i had never seen anything like it it was beautiful!thanks

  • Thanks for this, it really is great to see the old stories from way back. As "rough" as they seem, compared to modern shows, many of these old series (Noggin especially) had strong stories and gifted presenters. In the end, if you look back a year at what you saw of animations, do you remember the picky details of the art, or the quality of the writing and the voices? My guess is that even for the kids of today, they'd go with the latter. Skilled artists are more common than skilled writers.

  • this is seriously so much better than some of the crap you see on television now

    makes me sad :'(

  • This artist is skilled though! I'ts the 'rough' around the edges that makes it so charming and engaging. The 'perfect' smooth finished computer animations often seem so inaccessable by comparison.

  • THank you very much for putting this video up as I used to love noggin and it was really enjoyable being able to watch it again

  • wow, takes me back to being a young child
