  • you say god, but i wonder which god do you speak of, there are many?

  • My 1st grade teacher taught me this song when we were kids. I loved it. And still do. Now I help out on a children's worship class, and can't wait to teach them this song, that I deeply enjoy:)

  • stop pausing whenever you clap.

  • My mother sang this song to me every morning to wake me up! Thank you so much! This song reminded me of my childhood years. It was a surprise for me that Christians also sing this song I'm Jewish but thats just great :)

  • Thanks so much! I couldn't find this song anywhere else. I'm thirteen, and I first heard it on veggietales (I was watching it with my 3 year old second cousin). Call me immature, but I really love this song!!!

  • Thank you for sharing this...it's VBS week and i wanted to present this to the children. This will totally help...thanks again!

  • Hello, one of my students thinks the story of Noah's Ark actually happened and I don't want to burst his bubble, but anyway he's been asking me questions that I don't know how to answer in a way he would understand completely. Such as, why didn't all the animals eat each other? (in the way that we would tend to expect from the natural food chain). Can you help me explain this in a way that his brain will be able to absorb?

  • @MarshFacev2,

I am not sure where exactly you are coming from, but Noah's Ark did happen. I would encourage you to simply respond to your student "If God is big enough to flood the whole earth with rain, and if God is big enough to empower Noah to build a big boat like that, then God is big enough to allow the animals to get along nicely while on the ark." In fact, up to this point, the animals probably did all get along with each other as they did in the Garden of Eden.

    Hope this answer helps.

  • @dvmajor1

Thanks for your reply, it was very helpful. Believe it or not, he's now asking me about evidence that show that Noah's Ark actually happened...kids today! I'm sure there have been many scientific studies proving it happened, do you know of any reliable sources that do so?

  • thanks i will teach this song to my students on friday =) nice song

The bible clearly says Gopher wood

  • Thank you for this. It brought back many happy childhood memories. xx

  • So simple----

  • Its gopher bark. But still the song is cute.

  • I first heard this on The Simpsons episode "Homer the Heretic". I'm a stanch atheist but I love this and am figuring it out on guitar as we speak in case I have to entertain some kids.

  • look at singwithjesuscom great site

  • i love evolution. Look at the spoon bill and you'll see that evolution is so plain and clear. such magnificent animals we live with today thanks to millions upon millions of years. The earth is 4.5 - 4.7 billion years old and our universe is 13 - 15 billion years old. there are about 700 trillion dwarf galaxies, 200 billion milky way sized ones, each with from 50 million to 100 trillion stars in each one. isn't evolution and the big bang great?? :D

  • @IAmTheCthulhu The Big Bang Theory is as close to scientific evidence of God as you're going to get. And the story of the Great Flood appears in almost every ancient culture, not just the the one that spawned Christianity.

  • You do a great job ! My 11.5 month old granddaughter and I love your videos. THANK YOU!

  • it is gopher barky barky. this version is different.

  • @byw613 yep Genesis 6:14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch

  • @byw613 there is a lot of contention of the translation of "gopher" for the wood. I wouldn't nitpick. Hickory works just as well for me. (:

  • How about the Polka version

  • this song is truly dear to my heart. The story of noah and the ark put into song and/or interperetive dance...Amazing. And speaking of amazing, that woman's dancing is fabulous.
