Dr. Craig's "resurrection hypothesis' includes six propositions, one of which is that the resurrection is in accord with accepted beliefs [No. 5]. Whose beliefs is he refering to? He admits that the Jews did not believe in an individual ressurection before the general resurrection, so whose beliefs are the hypothesis in accord with?
There's nothing more irritating then having to educate someone just so you can debate them. This, it seems to me, is what WLC is having to do with Edwards. I also half expected an ad hominem attack by Edwards on WLC due to his almost frantic desperation.
I mean throughout the video, they seem to talk on every topic EXCEPT the Resurrection. Edwards seemed to be really uncomfortable with staying on track.
Well, saying that nobody's risen from the dead in the last 2000 years isn't entirely true.
Dr. Sean George (you can look this up) was risen from the dead in 2008. He was medically dead for nearly an hour. His wife prayed for a miracle and God rose him to life.
Edwards couldn't handle Craig's argument for the resurrection so he had to resort to turn the debate into a debate about the existence of God. Reminds me of what Sam Harris did.
@drcraigvideos I live in Auckland and I voted for Dr. Craig. But still I think he was unable to defend the statement that every baby is born with sin.
OMG Dr. Craig has to teach this guy how logic works and even how to make an argument. Why is this guy even here? He even says himself that he uses the argument of a child.
Too bad Easter is a pagan holiday and NOT the day on which Yeshua (the Jewish Messiah) resurrected. It was on Passover AND according to the Bible, he resurrected immediately after Shabbat (Matthew 28:1), not Sun-Day.
Since when did Pagans celebrate on a day in relation to the Jewish Passover which shifts every year according to the sunday? The only connection of easter to Paganism is in the english name. Which is derived from Eostre a Goddess who may or may not have been believed. the Majority of non English countries Call it Pascha which is Passover. This claim that easter is pagan is rediculous. And is not sunday the day after the shabbat? The first day of the week?
This is probaly one of the best Debates i have heard with WLC. I have watched a fair few and brian done quite a good job. It appears if you believe in Determinism who has no free will, you will pretty much come a a logger heads with the Theist and free will.
WLC won, but only because brian failed to answer some of WLC questions, not because WLC Answered His, because at least WLC Answered BRians questions.
Amen, the gospel is fantastic.

I think Dr. Craig had 2 debates with Brian Edwards. Do you know which years they were and whether this is the first or second?

No offense but Edwards is one of the worst opposers Craig has ever debated.

Hmmm... Edwards arguments are so amature - "Where is God?", "Who created God?".. + He can't stay on topic.. massive fail.

When I hear Brian "Ask where is he?" It reminds of a child who is angry at his father.
