First of all, by 'official government records' I think you're referring to the Red Cross documents, they say 300,000 because they're only referring to the amount of German's who died in the holocaust, which includes German Jews, German communists, etc. And how do you know that all the Jews were put in crematorias? Maybe some were buried, and eyewitness testimonies from SS guards and holocaust survivors say that they stack loads of bodies on top of each other and push them in, there's no debate.
