1. if your a gamer intel is a good choice.

2. if your a 3d animator that need ALOT of processing power, go AMD.

3. if your running MULTIPLE virtual server, go AMD

4. If your a budget builder go AMD

I would still recommend getting the unlocked 'K' versions as it's so easy to get extra bang for your buck with the fool proof overclocking.
