That is a dick move. The game forces you to make a jump when you should be making a move to protect your pieces. So in other words you make your forced jump and one of your other pieces is removed and you had no say in it. Still I remember playing this a lot when I was little. It was a fun game to play when I was bored. Unfortunatly I lost it along with the Incredible Toon Machine.  Sigh...

In checkers, you sacrifice to win. You should take advantage of the rules and force your opponent to take unwanted jumps. The idea is to make your opponent jump a piece that can be recaptured with a double or triple jump.

Cauze that's how Nintendo and C. Martinet do it. He speaks a little if its officially Nintendo like "Here-we-go!" but almost every Mario game ending would have him speak english correctly like SM64 "Thanksa-so-much-for-playing-m­ya-game."

Yeah, in some versions of checkers the rules require you to take any jumps you have available. Which I suppose comes in handy if you're playing Giveaway, in which the object is to lose all your pieces. >_>

Aah, I'll live with the thumbs down - but in my defense, it really have been several years since I've played checkers. And it just seems to me like it's kinda unfair. I mean couldn't you, at least theoretically, set your opponnent up to forcibly take a jump that'd set them up for a big fall? That's not cool! @_@ Oh man...

I designed this game for Interplay! Haven't seen this for years... It was originally called "An Evening with Mario" then retitled "mario's Game Gallery"  then retitled again. Changing the name didn't make the game any better. lol.
