Am a Nigerian born in France but i live in the UK. My parents are from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria. They told me that alot of Igbo's were deported to Haiti during slavery. They always pray for their brothers in Haiti. During the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, the Igbo community here in the UK made contributions for their Haitian brothers. I love Haiti so much. In France, Haitians are not arrogant like people from Guadeloupe & Martinique. We love Haiti Kompa music, Carimi & Sweet Mickey. Nice people!

Further down in this thread I mentioned some of the people who have posted hate videos in the past, some have been pulled off, others are still around. Other users got their accounts closed maybe because the videos were pure vitriol, got flagged for abuse, and they are gone. Again, I have nothing against what you are doing, but there are too many haters out there and if it were the other way around, I'm sure you would not put up with it. I don't load up videos, period.

Omg I went to Haiti in August, I was inside the aiport for 2 1/2 hrs waiting for my bags. That was nerves racking. I went through the same thing when I went to Haiti. I waited so long for my bags, when we finally got them a "helper" helped my mom & I with our bags my uncle gave him $100 Haitian, he refused. My mom gave him $5 American, he happily took it.

It is time ofr AAN stops this and set up a waitin aread with seats accross the street where they hav that crappy lookin building... Not the standard for the #1 gate in the country !

This brings back many memories of when I was married and had helped my ex's family with doing an adoption from Haiti. I have to say that it was the most educational two weeks of my life! I can testify that the Lord's hand was in everything that we did there for the circumstances that were against us. I wish that I could go back to Haiti to help with anyone wanting to do an adoption.
