Hi there, regarding the beat it's from a People Under the Stairs 12", sorry can't remember which one, Intelligent Hoodlum also uses it on his slf titled LP, Common used it for the Corner a few years after i did this routine tho.

there are some very good dj's in the uk and dj woody is up there with plus one, tony vegas,prime cut and skully. i have the 2002 uk finals and to me dj woody won. i'm from usa and he could hang with the us dj's he is that good

Go get a late pass!! Woody's been as good as most of the American guys, for the last 10 years. As for now, well, I'd put him in the World's Top 5. He's one of the few guys who keep coming up with new stuff - unlike some more famous DJs, who have been travelling around the world, doing the same routines, for the last 12 years.
