Wilson got in trouble because he publicly talked about the Iraqi nuclear program which CIA sent him to Niger to investigate Iraq purchase of uranium. The finding should be classified and decide by CIA & WH, instead Wilson talked about it in NY time. No government in the world would tolerate leaking information of covert operation during time of war. He can oppose the war, but he can't used the finding he made for CIA in Niger to argue for it. He and his family pay for it dearly.

Ron Paul is not by any means for throwing out any needed government oversight, but wants to keep the government from meddling too much in the rights of individuals and groups to justly and lawfully carry on commerce.

One of the main problems with the health care industry is not that there is too much free market, it's that there is not enough free market. If doctors and hospitals where allowed to compete on price, not just on quality of health care, the price of health care would drop and the quality would go up. More competition in a free market practically always has that effect. The health care industry also inflates their prices to take advantage of government programs and insurgence companies.
