i dont see why it matters really. Why are people getting pissed for liking a song. you dont have to listen to a bands music for 3.57 years, own all their merchandise, and been to 8 and a half concerts to be considered a fan.

I knew them way before sex on fire or use somebody, but it's not a bad thing that more ppl know them. My friends started listening to them only because of use somebody, but hey, they're listening to KOL's older songs now too

AMEN!! I'm that person you're talking: liking an awesome song on the Radio n seeing other songs KOL has. The more I hear, the more I like.

I think the reason why older KOL fans are pissed at the slew of new "fans" is that newer "fans" maybe consider themselves "fans" after one song, and just bragging on how they LOVE KOL!!!

I totally understand that, nothing much pisses me off more than "one song" fans, so that's what I'm doing: actually taking initiative to see what KOL is really all about.
