@dharcoon i have to disagree, i thought ripper brought some great elements to the band. besides, barlow thought he needed some time away from the music business. who knows, if he stayed, he may not have been as great. just because ripper is a little different, doesn't mean he's bad.

I agree with you... The glorious burden was well done with Owens, but personally I wasn't digging the Framing Armageddon album...I thought his vocals were getting a bit overdone and the character of it just wasn't working with the rest of the album...let me say this though...he did a hell of a job on ten thousand strong...but thats about it...Owens is an amazing vocalist, but I think Barlow brings the strength back to Iced Earth.
