I got PCSX just to play Silent Hill but I appear to be missing the file that you say you need in the last few seconds of this video, a "cue" file? I can actually get the game to work but it eventually just freezes. Any ideas?

I got nfl blitz to start but it says "reading from memory card" and does nothing else. Please let me know if you know how to get around this

@hmoore41 Hmm. Try to reset the game and the application. Some games might lag there for awhile, then they end up working a few moments later.

@DiLui007 Thanks for getting back to me. I managed to find an updated version of PCSX and the game worked, just to find out that the players in nfl blitz are invisible. You can play the game but cannot see the players, but whatever. Thanks for your info.

Oh and also one of my games has the same .7z and .cue but no img but when I open the .7z with this program the black screen comes up but no game. :( Any idea about this? :\ I realllllyyyyy want to play this game

@itsnicksharpbro You need to unzip the .7z file, its like a .rar file. Download Ez7z and drag the file in the program and it'll unzip it.

@GanjikaCisco hmmm thats weird. The only thing i can think of is try uninstalling pcsx and reinstall it. see if that helps

@fhmnoor Watch my newer vid. There was some bug in PCSX that wont allow you to save. In PCSX-R, you can easily save in-game and use the freeze state.

@ghettopunx You need UnrarX. Once you download it. The .rar files will look like a purple folder. Click on it, it will extract it, and a new folder will be created with the .iso or .bin files in it.

i used unrarx but it only gave me a .ccd, .img driver, and a .sub. and when i tried to open them with PCSX, it said it could not read any of the file types...

HELPP. Great vid but i have a problem, I cant save anything on FF7. I tried the simulate psx Bios thing, I tried unchecking dynarec cpu. The game wont run if I uncheck dynarec Cpu or if I check Bios.. and when i defrost saved state it shows up.. but wont let me move or anything. I cant run the controller thing on "HIDinput" either cuz again it wont load the game. Im playing from disk.. should i use Iso? Please and thanks

@imsoboredeg first of all NEVER use the freeze/defrost settings because those never worked in the first place. The devs abandoned the PCSX project before fixing this.

For the controller make sure it says "Digital Pad" not Analog Pad.

If the game is not working, make sure the disk is not scratched. You can also try to use an .ISO instead of using the disk.
